Hi all ;)
i watched tricking it2 and i noticed that the nicknames which show us who is tricking atm are bright when the background is dark, and dark when bg is bright, can anybody tell me how to do it? maybe jrb will ;P |

Looks to me like its on a new video track, with a differant transfer mode.

maybe a transfer mode of 'difference' or something. but you can just change the color of the text manualy, key frame the saturation, many things (didnt go back and watch it, im just guessing) |

Compositing Mode - Overlay
Change the text color from black to white, white hightens light tones and vice versa afaik?
Same goes for hightening colors of an overall AVI.
- Gausian Blur a new layer of the clip
- Compositing mode to Overlay
- Adjust brightness and contrast

i`ve already found out a way to do these nicknames;p
its just like Reaction said but the transfer mode should be DIFFERENCE to get the invert effect;) overlay reduces the contrast (notice on the image that on the red light area the title is red ;p but with difference it should be opposite to red;p

I didnt have Tricking iT2 on my pc anymore so i couldnt quiet remeber :(
Oh, and on that screenshot its normal on the left and overlay on the right, so surelly thats increasing contrast? Unless i read wrong? :( |

sorry that im repling on this topic, but i didnt found nothing better to fit for my question.
cant get how was made transition in Tricking It 2, i downloaded Winmorph and expermineted with it and noticed it is based on fading. In this transition is smth like ripple.
