Help On Setting.........

Can anyone help me with Vegas setiings i need it so my films are a small size and the quality is good... and any other setting that'll help....... ps wat codec shall i get which 1 is the best? Thnx Apple

The most used codec is xvid. There are many tutorials in this forum to help you choose the best settings.

Alcohol is the answer, but I can't remember the question!

Codecs and video editing programs are too diferent things. In vegas you can choose some parameters like resolution, framerate and codec (in order most common used are 640x480, 30fps and xvid), but that's nearly all. Then the codec is not related to any editing application. Once you have chosen the codec you just have to configure its settings (there must be a button like configure next to the combobox than allows you to choose the codec), and then the settings you must choose are explained in many tutorials on the forum.
