Some of you may already heard of it:
The Moviemaking GUI for CS:Source
On 21.10 i released the Moviemaking GUI for CS:Source (short MMGUI). It includes all things a good css-movie needs. Heres a complete list:
• New Main-Menu Style • Moviemaking Config • High-Quality Config • Moviemaking Bindings • Invisible HUD • Blue C4-LED • Customized Muzzleflash • Anti-Hit-VTF's • Inovative Userinterface • Anti-Scoreboard • Console Help • Launch Options fix • Various Tools • Tutorials • Activated Phong-Shader • Anti-Radio-Icon • New Ragdoll-Physics (more realistic) • New HE- and C4-Explosions • New Smoke-Effects (HE etc.) • Whitewall Map for special recordings (mmgui_whitewall) • Some MM-Links • Nulled Radio-Sounds • High-Detail Weapons (world view)
I worked long time on it, so i hope you like it. Also i will update it every time, theres something new, which needs to be added. The aim of this is, to give you the maximized out quality of your ingame footage.
Downlod: 1. ngz-server dl-link (High-Speed) Note: On this Server, there will be the latest version all the time!
2. filefront server Note: On this Server, there will be the latest version all the time + older versions in the sub-dir!
3. uploaded.to server (actual version 1.0b)

appears as if the whitewall is just a map, so you can run around recording in it and key out everything but the players.
-edit- btw ARN, you may want to look at your pack again. I installed this on a fresh cstrike folder and something in your configs lags the demos severely, and it's not the host_framerate cuz I set that back to 0 and it still lags.
and then there's this.
and your config has AA set to 8, which ATI"s don't do, so therefor give no AA at all. May want to remove that altogether and just make a note to have users configure their own settings. ATI has a max of 6, and Nvidia doesn't do 6.

Hey, I was wondering. Is realtime Capture the only method of taking a demo and making it into a video file.
I explain my thinking here rather then retype it: http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=554557
Is my idea even possible. I know you can do it in Quake3, which is why I thought of it.
Thanks. |

I figuired out the issue.
I didn't use the Host_framerate option.
So I capture at 250fps now. Makes for beautiful video. |
