I'm basically new at video editting , compression , conversion of demos into video files and stuff.. :/
So here it goes..
I have some cs demo's and i wanted to convert these demo's into videos. i mean the frag part obviously.
Someone told me to use the "startmovie" command..
So what i do is for recording the part i want .."startmovie filename 120" and i get the bmp's of the frag.
What i basically want is the Video along with the fragging audio (sound of bullets, nades etc).
So can anybody help me with the starting part.. i just need the proper fragging part along with its audio (i dont seem to get it coz startmovie command gets just the bmp's)
Also help me with compression and all.
Sorry but i'm still learning , hope you guys help. :]
I have the following programs at the moment :
- Vegas 7.0
- Virtual Dub 1.7.6
- Blaze Media Pro
Thanks.

you may need to capture seperatly, then sync up the audio later in vegas. search google for audio capturing programs
or try FRAPS? :)
I'm sure there are tons of guides for capturing in CS, I will let a CS editor finish answering the question :D
