I wanted to know if/how to to overlap a screenshot onto a video event. example: Event is lightning striking down, I want to add a screenshot of my character into the lightning.
On a side note; Is there a video fx to make my character in the screenshot look like a shadow (black figure, light background) I've tried multiple fx customization but have had no success yet. If anyone knows a preset, i would appreciate it.

| If your talking about .dem they are from css and need to be viewed in css. Load counter strike and press shift+F2 on the menu screen. Load your demo. |

| Hey! Well i have this very annoying problem with my Vegas, hopefully u guys still read this cuz i'm a bit behind:p...well none of my video effects (contrast, lens flare, diform ect. ) don't work! it's like they aren't there...does any1 know what the problem could be..and it worked oter times and then it suddenlly stopped. :s |

| hey, i need help, i hav vegas 7.0e and my computer froze while event pan/crop was open and now weneva i press the event pan/crop button, tools-video-event pan/crop or even right clicking and pressing it, nothing appears, the box 4 event pan/crop won't open no matter how mny times i press the buttons and i really need it 4 editing one of my vids, i've tried evrything i can think of and nothings working in bringing the box out!!!! plz help!?!?! |

Strange problem, but I have a problem with my avi files that I created using pjBmp2Avi.
My avi's play very smooth and well in windows media player, but when I put it into my timeline in Sony Vegas 7, the video doesn't move and appears as a stationary screenshot of the first second of my video.
My Project setting for Sony Vegas 7 are:
720x480x32, 29.970i
My avi is in 640x480x24 at 30fps
I tried disabling resampling to see if that made a difference, but nope.
Strange how my avi's run in Windows Media Player, but not in my timeline in sony.
btw, the avi has a file size of 620mb for 23seconds long, and the avi file also runs fine in Adobe After Effects. I love using Vegas, so any help witht his problem would be great! Thank you! |
