Hi, well Ive been rendering with meGUI, and Ive got some questions about the colors.
Look at this pic, its from a huffyuv file: http://img511.imageshack.us/img511/3453/finalqz8.png
And this is when its encoded: http://img356.imageshack.us/img356/19/finalrendergo6.png
The fragtext looks really bad, it even looks like that as fast as I check the preview of the avisynth script in meGUI. Is there any way to solve this ? I dont think it has anything to do with the profile settings since it appears like that in the preview, could it be something with the .avs ?
Also when I render it looks like it looses some of the gamma or something, it looks brighter and not as good as in the huffyuv file. I know that x264 doesnt give you perfect quality and colors, I just want to check that I get the best possible =)
BTW I also have another question, in movies like Castor Fiber where theres lots of free camera clips with ingamesound, I wonder how you can record the sound good. Is the only way to record your footage, then reload then demo and try to get the same camera angle and then record the sound ? (Ive just started with quake so I dont know so much about third person view and stuff)
Thanks in advance

No need to do this, as camera angles/paths can be saved and reloaded later on.

that colour issue is there because when you encode with megui it converts the colour profile to yuv12 or w/e it is.
the only way i've seen around this is a tutorial in the style-productions forums.
can't remember the specifics so look through their forums :) |
