Does anyone know what happened to this forum? (Mainly used byQ3 defrag players).
Did the forum get a new url or something...
I sent an email but I haven't had a reply yet, on the main page the link "forum" has disappeared. |

Hey spook....good to see some guys are still around here. As for your question I really have no clue what happened. My assumption is that Velocity Micro finally just outted the forum section (or at least the Q3 section). They honestly should have done this for years now, considering it gives them no value to their product and that anybody looking to order from them might find their way to some flame war thread about scripted strafe jumping....just useless to them as a company. It's kind of sad to see it go though...I know I still went just to look at some threads (old ones too for demos) and it's kind of a shame that it's gone. It really was the backbone of the q3 trick jumping community ever since I can remember. But oh well....I doubt there's many people trick jumping anyways (freestyle that is...). Good news though, me/Nihilanth/Wussie are still doing another project, as we still have life for new jumps.

It was a great site.. I also don't know what happened there. Now, it would be nice if they all come to the oldschool own-age.com :)

I can understand them wanting to get rid of the forums, but without fair warning... They just pulled the plug without anyone knowing.
At least they could have said "in a weeks time", someone might have suggested another forum and people would know where to find one another. Now they're all dispersed.

We'll try not to disappoint you spook....we're doing an L2F hybrid of sorts. 6-8 new tricks, with the old ones still of course. Wussie will be doing a much more 'edited' version of the movie....it's keeping us busy with new ideas and concepts, brought us some life back into tricking so it's a good thing even if the movie is epic fail.
