I put up this poll wondering how gamers like wireless mice.. I have a wireless mouse at work.. seems to work alright but I don't know if I can move away from my ms 1.1.. everything is great about it sept the fact that the cord gets caught up sometimes.

Well, i have like, a really nice Wireless Mouse, (i made a mistake on buynig a cheap one, thinking they all work the same) and it is very nice. it can go up to about 20 feet away from my PC before it starts to freak out. it weights a little more than my old corded mouse, but it is super smooth even without a mouse pad. So it really depends on how much cash you spend on a mouse. Go and get a nice one that will last like, a good 3 or 4 years.

I've got a mouse with a cord, and it doesn't bother me.
In any review of mouses I've read up till now, they always say there is some "lag" or "delay" noticable, and I wouldn't want that. So, my next mouse will be with a cord too.

I had a cordless mouse, and it was not fast enough, I had lags all the time, that means, I played like I would have only 30 fps.
Maybe there are better mices now, but I have an optical mouse with cord and I there are no such problems

I like mice WITH cord cause I don't wanna keep putting the mice in the charger all the time and there is also the lagissues.
When gaming the cord doesn't get in my way but when I'm working with my laptop and pc it does cause then there are 2 mice with 2 cords and well you get the idea.

I've heard that too, that there's a lot of lag. I just bought an MX510 gaming mouse. It is the best mouse I've ever had, so I'm going with cord from now on.

Never tried a wireless mouse to play, maybe i will. But honestly i see no interest on buying such a stuff blindly (i mean for a gamer) cause imho this only can be a source of problems (lags and all those problems you guys are talking about)... but i understand that it's interesting to give it a try.
Anyway, got an optical mouse with a big fat cord and i'm happy with it. :>

yea, I honestly don't know where people are coming up with this lag stuff.. the wireless mouse I have at work doesn't "lag" at all, and I bought it for 20 bucks. (some generic type logitech mouse, not a mx series mouse)

The only prob I had with the mx1000 was the sideways movement. I was using a mx510 and decided to try cordless. I have to agree it sucks when u first use it but, now I'm glad I made the change. And I can game 4-5 hours a day during the weekend and not have to recharge it. It is a pain trying to remember to charge it. I just happen to remember right before I go to bed to slap it in the charger.

I never had lags with my cordless mouse but it was way to heavy and after 2-3 days you have to charge the batteries. Thats fucking annoying ;) I love my MX310 .. no charging and stuff :]
