I have the ideia that certain movies shouldn't be accepted the first place, the author has to care a bit for the movie if it is whilling to share.. well many movies that are below average are accepted so i would agree on:
If it hasn't any award, any reference, low downloads i would agree on removing.. but that's the admins choise :) I'm also in favor that everyone deserves a chance.. but standards keep rising.. and i'«m atalking only about the ones actually hosted here

sorry, by activity I don't mean # of downloads/pageviews by day.. I mean as a whole.. a video that is over a year old with less then 50 downloads, 1-2 comments and no reviews/favorites is an example of a video with little/no activity.
For example I did a query against the database and found 72 videos that have been on the site for at least 6 months, and with less then 100 downlods.
is it really worth it though is the question.. 72 videos removed from 2200+ is hardly a dent.. should it be more? or should there be like levels.. like if a video is 6 months old it should have at least 100 downloads to stay on the site.. if it is 1 year old, ti has to have 250 downloads to remain on the site?

Its not fair to delete old videos that only has low comments, downloads etc... so I dont see any reason.

i voted no because i think it's not the autour fault but your, you have accepted a bad movie and nobody wanna see it, but it was accepted, so keep it..
Good movies from non popular games will be downloaded for sure, and become "active". I don't think the game is an obstacle when the movie is good, but if u accept too many bad movies, I mean fragmovies with no content for exemple, then the majority of the movies will become "inactive".
I just want own-age.com to become more selective when you accept a movie, then there won't be any movie with no activity imo..
At least, i think you can delete VERY bad movies with no activity and only very bad, because yeah, some standard movies have a little activity due to the game |
