if your asking what a blog is:
blog also known as a web log: a shared on-line journal where people can post diary entries about their personal experiences and hobbies.
One of the new features in v9 I added was a blog for every user. Users will be able to post unlimited amount of entries to their blog and those entries will be shown on their profile as well as various other places on the site (as well as optional siteblock areas). ideally, what I myself would use it for is to post small bits about things I've done to the site as well as progress on any other own-age.com related projects (vids/site fixtures).
Obviously you don't have to use it if you don't want to, but it will be available for you when v9 goes live (which is expected on April 16th.)

I think that it is a neat idea, i would use it. i think this would be helpful for vid makers, cause if u regisiterd on this site, u can post ur upcoming work. then other people can check ur profile and see what u have coming, among other things. i for one would use this new feature.

i say definitely yes, and i think it would have the potential to be a GREAT vid maker journal like talking and posting about your video in progress and getting results and just to share tactics and what is going on. good idea in that way :)

id also have to say yes. im not one for blogging, but as some form of 'video diary' or something like that or a progress report on a video in the making, it would be very cool to see. for instance if i want to see where sean is on Aftermath once real progress starts i can consult his blog and see any lil details hes posted, maybe screens, etc. sounds good im for it!

Although i wouldnt use it myself, would be good for progress reports, instead of threads in the forums.

| right now i wouldn't use it for the shear fact I don't have time... maybe later I could for notes to self (while away from home comp) or updating progress on some projects... could be interesting mainly cause I've never been exposed to this type of stuff so i guess I'll see |
