hmmm, sometimes trailers realy are better that a whole movie, and I voted YES :)
It's good that bad trailers won't be video of the day.. heh becouse people won't put it in their favourites...

I thinks only full movie should be eligible for video of the day...
How many times you saw a nice trailer....and the full movie isn't what you expect?? (in game movie or in cinema).
For me...trailer is a part of the final work...so I think only the final work(full movies) should be eligible for the video of the day.

No, it should not be. Get your priorities straight. A trailer is simply not a movie. It's a preview and it shouldn't be treated as full version movies. So no and it should stay that way. If you want a "Trailer of the Day", then by all means do that.

| No. Even though there are some pretty nice trailers out there, they shouldn't count towards the video of the day award. If anything you could have special area just for trailers, like a "Most Downloaded Trailer" or whatever. |

hehe :) now after seeing many people saying no i don't kow what to think.. but shaolin trailers (and many others that give me a very good trailer feeling like the ones on news) are way much better than many movies out there ;) and termi - halo2 is a trailer withouth movie.. wehre does it stay? :D

trailers should not even come on the site
why pretending ur making a movie like in the 'real world'
trailers are meant (in real world) as a commercial
commercials in gaming movies, and make them movie of the day ?!
u out of ur mind?
trailers mostly only show best parts of the full movie, most times trailers are better than full movie :( sad...
some ppl say it gives u an idea of what u will see in the full movie, but that isnt true imo

i really would hate that. Trailers take half the time and effort of full movies, post about trailers on the front page but a video of the day should be the entire thing.

maybe, but it makes us gain experience ;) i would feel sorry to see my final movie like my trailer.. with experience it becomes with much more quality

If a trailer is good enough to earn some favourites, then yes it should. Argueing that trailers require less effort to me seems silly, because people have decided that the trailer has the sufficeint amount of content, editing and overall quality to be a favourite.

I would have never seen (is this the correct tense? O_o) the trailer to a never released tj-movie from mrks, if it wouldn't have showed up in the votd-window. DARN it, i forgot the name of it :| - anyways, one of my absolute all-time-favorites, so I voted a "Yes, ffsbbq!".
