Agreed with 6-10. We dont have long attention spans, nor do we appreciate shitty frags and big downloads. Less is more.

I voted 11-15 as its a sort of middle of the range length, I can sit through 20minute movies but its all down to the content and effort. Defrag revolution for example i happily sat through it and enjoyed it, infact the time flew by, because the skills and editing both appealed to me.
I dont really download videos that havent had at least some thought put into them so i generally end up satisfied regardless of length. |

If the content is good >21 Ift its mixed (some good, some not so good frags) > 11-15 If the content is bad 0 ;D
I dont like <10 minutes movies as much as i like >15 minutes movies, because they only have ~5-6 mins of fragging :)

I voted 11-15, seems like a good balance, but as others have said, I can very easily sit through >20 mins if the movie is put togther properly with good editing/frags.

That's a bit of an hard question but i'd be for 6-10 mn. Imho this is at first the perfect lenght to make you want to watch the movie in question again because most of the time if the vid is short, then the editor takes the time to edit it descently. And plus as others people said, that's really hard to keep somebodys attention more than 10 mn if the movie doesn't have something really special.

Id have to say as long as the movie needs to be. So that can be an hour if so desired by the creators, it just has to hold the audiances attention, so of hte movie is an hour and it sux, well then noone will watch. So its all up to the creator i think :]
:E? Check out my movie, Live to Fly!!

I think, 15 - 20 mins is ideal, because if I begin to watch a 10 min vid, it ends before it began. Just look at the GNA UT2k4 movie, which runs over half an hour and it's just great or the Q3A Trickjumping-movie from the "Polish Trickz Center" which is called is called "Thugz!".
sry for my english, but i'm german, so...

6-10 / 11-15 or about as long as a Quake3:Arena 1v1 match is fine. 20 minutes is a long azz time, and it will probably lose my interest. I seem to skip to the parts that I like, if it's 20 minutes long.
On the otherhand 6-10 or 11-15 has some playback value, and I'll probably watch it again in repeat mode.

Depends on a lot of stuff.. not only the quality of footage, editing and other ways to keep it interesting, but also on the viewer. I don't expect a Q3 player to enjoy a 35 minute long instagib movie (GNA), but I know the instagib community doesnt mind at all. Generally I'd say max. length for a movie (with footage that is appealing to me) would be 20/25 minutes. |

i prefer movie to be aslong as possible aslong as it is entertaining some movies now a days are boring and put me of watching them, some movies actually prevent me from playing counter strike because they are that boring.
