Most of time playing a game is to have fun ( some with cheats some dominate some don t care etc etc )
I M CHEATING ALL TIME even when i don t play i wh ppl everywhere \:D/
Playing for fun (pub, with friends,leagues etc), to pass time (cause i don t sleep alot), and cause i luv quake3, btw i m only playing quake3.

i was pretty sick nasty at ctf when osp was alive... and i just came back to q3 to play some ultra freeze tag and im usually topscorer with topshots \o/

im average in pretty much any fps game i touch, i get some excelent shots here and there and a few good runs but i dont consider myself a legened though.

I am one of the best on a few servers I play on sometimes, but I always play for fun, and usually I play on servers with a high level (all the players have been playing regularly for years, and the best players play there), so I am rather average. By reading your comments here, a few possibilities:
-own-age.com members are very good in average
-they play against noobs, or at least don't play on "heavy" servers
-only the good players answer here
-they lie, or at least are not totally honnest
...
I say that because everyone here (except Linwwod) is one of the best, if not the best, player on the servers he plays :D.
And fatal1ty was first known as a Q3 duel player, and he was World Champion in that category.
Alcohol is the answer, but I can't remember the question!

Bacchus, you'd be suprised by how many noobs float on and off our local servers.
Some nights you can spend an hour fragging groups of people that I'd rate as hardcore as a Bring It On Bot. But most of the time, there's at least 5 or 6 other guys that play regularly and are pretty damn good as well.

Ho yeah, it happens on some servers, but the server on which I most (used to when I had time) play, there are never real noobs, they get owned too badly and leave very quickly (I don't remember a noob staying more than 5 minutes on that server).

i wish i could play quake 3 online more, there is only one good server i can play on (50 ping average) and its hardly used anymore :( i have to settle with CS:S or UT2004, not that theres anything wrong with that, im just sick of playing bots :( have pitty.
