I suppose A+ is best and F is worst? This is a grade system in USA?
I'd give it a C.
Overall design is nice, but I find it being not very user friendly.
Some texts are way too small and way too dark on dark background. It's not a major problem for myself, since I can see very well, but I guess many people can find it hard to read. Good thing is that you can change the font size inside your browser (thought, not everyone knows about this) and it doesn't break page layout.
Forum layout is alright, but navigation is surprisingly on top and I didn't even notice it at first. Forum search is weird - I didn't find any place to search forum directly. First you need to type something into search field on top/right, it will give you video search results, only after that you can choose "switch to forum search". Why not having a forum search field on forum?
Videos page is nice where you can see all the categories, all of them fit on my screen. It's better than the old one. Sorting videos works great and thumbs are nice. The video details page is nice and works. Good job here.
What I just noticed is that probably lots of simple things are done with some weird scripts, like this reply form that stops working after you go back and forwars on page. |

Here are a few things that I'd like to point out :
1) The videos page's layout isn't very clear imo. In fact I think that the most important informations about the movie in question (duration, size etc) are not as visible/easily readable as they used to be.
2) As Samouraigamer said, bringing back the numbers for video ratings seems to be a good idea, I'm not a fan of those vertical bars either.
3)
Having an overview of the last posted comments while answering to a
thread would be nice (it was in v8 but disappeared with the new
version).
4) It looks like there's a problem with the reply form which simply stops working when I go back/forward on pages.

take into concideration that a lot of things are still under developement. Since the launch the grading system & mouseovers have allready been fixed. And sean is currently working around the clock fixing bugs =]
all in all, i really like the new look, i think the site deserved a new fresh mockup ^^. There's some cool new features here allready and some others on their way probably.
biggest+ for me at the moment next to the new layout & style = proper aspect ratio's on thumbnails and showing avatars :))

Is that me or isnt it a big + for admin too, the "there is mirror but only admins can see them and fix that" thing seems fixed?
( yea i couldn t see for a movie and didn t tell any admins cause tbh was lazzy/tired, now i can see mirrors, so 2 possibilities someone told admins or it is fixed :)

+ A big + for the whole site feels faster now
- I don't like how instead of giving numerical values for the rating of a video there are now bars and things like "CO" "E" under the bars - was much clearer system before, now i really can't tell what the ratings are |

| It feels way too cluttered to me in general. More cluttered than even CNN or FOXNews websites'.
Also, why is it that simple, efficient navigation to desired content is second to about 15 other sidebar features that link to specific lists of movies?
What I mean is that the primary way to navigate to content ought to be through something like: Home -> Counter-Strike -> Frag Videos. Instead of having that on the primary sidebar, it's at the top bar and then in an odd multi-column, but paragraph-style arrangement in the body of the page. This is unintuitive to me. |

I don't like the layout of this version, I really don't like how the videos are layed out, I can't change my avatar...no button to click 'OK CHANGE MY DAMN AVATAR' -.- I clicked enter, but that didn't change it.
so overall i liked the last version better, and i give this one a D (only cause the colors and the header up top are nice) |

I've also got to ask.....Why are there the same exact sidebars displayed twice on the same page? My left and right sidebars both have the exact same content. That's a terrible use of space.
I think this stuff really ought to be more thought out, and more tested (was it tested at all?), before it's made a big release like this. This is definitely an unfinished product to release to such a large audience (by the way, I do respect that you've got such a following on this site).

Apparently this occurs only in Opera browser. It looks like there's different content in the sidebars in IE. I don't have firefox to test that.
My comment above about navigation still stands. |

Should have spent more time browsing the site, click on the link
that says "Edit Settings" (top right of the page) and you'll find a solution to your "terrible use of space" problem.

| That is still indeed a "terrible use of space" for a default setting. And, as you just saw, a user like me that doesn't spend a long time looking at the site might not even notice the edit settings option. The default page layout is super important. |

I was really surprised of the new design of the website, 1st impression i thought : "Wow ! amazing ! so c00l 1337 g@m3rs v1d305 w3bs1t3 !"
But the second impression was "How do i rate videos ?" "naw where is the list of users ???"
By the way the design is good according to me, black or dark grey isn't bad at all, it is not agressive so we can stay and read forum whole night without killing eyes.
But in an other hand the website design isnt so different from the old one.
It's like we have about the same design with a new site more difficult to use than before.
But some new things like own-age tv / HD tv with ff plugin or "new releases" showed that the website has really changed :)
I gave an "A+" at first but now i would give a "B-"
