I voted other cause my main reason is option 1 and 3. Allthough i never edited a video b4...i'm close to getting started.
That reminds me, i wanted to use q3mme for extracting the ingame sound. I set mme_saveWav to 1. But i don't seem to get a wav file. Am i forgetting something? Or does it only work when i capture frames? (PM me, guess otherwise its off-topic here :) )

well I figured that there would be a landslide on vids.. Just making sure what I should spend my time on :P
Kinda putting together the new layout now.. hard part I'm having is graphics.. but I can think of 1000 ways to lay the thing out and have it better than the current design.

I chose other, i come here for a little bit of everything. i like commenting on movies with helpful suggestions and i like the community, and of course the videos are always enjoying.

Then I was bored of that and stopped answering that kind of questions, and didn't want to do the searches for the lazy people (often a simple search in the forum made the trick). Now that I have less and less free time, I just come here from time to time. A few users were like me and made the forum live (Tania, Wussie, Cwitts...), posting half of the messages here. Maybe the same stuffs happened to them, and they stopped being so regular here. Anyway to me the community today is dying because it relied on too few people who were bored to do the job for the lazy people (the community didn't play the game and most people just came here to ask a question and never come back once they had their answer).
So if you have unanswered questions, I see 3 possibilities:
-it has already been asked so often that we don't want to answer, or the question is too vague for us to answer
-we don't know he answer
-we missed the post
Anyway check the URLs in my signature, it often helps (Tania was so bored to answer the same questions over and over again that she made some posts with the most useful links and answers to the most common questions).
Anyway just about the poll: nice to see 113% of the people come here for movies :D.

yeah, i think bacchus hit the nail there. For me it's hard with the little amount of time I have available due to a new school to open up own-age and do more then check for latest releases. Answering questions is justa time consuming process, especially when the answers are obvious or allready posted on the forums here.
What I think would get community talks going would probably be a steadier flow of content (tutorials, interviews, news items, reports, promotional little posts for videos) for the community to discuss about, but also those things are just time consuming to put together.
