| I dont think it's too "dark", I just dont believe the black/blue and yellowish-orange flow together quite well, maybe a different theme would help liven it up. |

| White background, at least as an option, please. When surfing at work, it's easy to keep a tab open of a page with a white background and alt-tab into a work-related app without notice, but black pages catch the eye - what dark-colored page is work-related? |

on old crt monitors this site can indeed be dark.
Let me explain a bit further: i'm owning such an old crt and yes it's dark. But also in games it's way too dark for me, so i'm using ati tray tools to add extra gamma ingame so i can even play cs source. in Q3engine games i just use r_gamma and r_overbrightbits 1.
At this moment, i can still read nearly every website without feeling the need to 'brighten it up a little (so using hotkeys for extra gamma)'. The only exception is www.own-age.com
So if you ask: is this site too dark, i can say: i know it looks good on many crt's and all tft's. For my monitor it's too dark though, but i know how to bypass it, so for me it isn't a problem. However i'm sure there will be a small group that will think it's too dark.

overview of my movies, useful links, best quality settings for SoF2, handling (sof2) sounds before and in premiere
all on one site: www.sof2chicane.tk (the site is ugly but the info is gold)

It doesn't matter, who you are or what you have, it only matters what you do out of it! |
