hehe, this site started before i started playing q3 (i couldn't earlier, cause my pc was to weak - bought better gear in 2004, and then was the first time i played q3 not on my friends computer, but on MINE! :D:D)

Since 2003 :) a few weeks before i registered ;)
I remember that i read a few tutorials that kept me in here forever since then :D
Unfortunatly now the site is very complete on the forum so the community became more of a watcher than of a talker..
Also i believe that many of them gain major responsabilities in life, which cut off the spare time to dedicate to the community.. it's life :)

I came across the site for the first time sometimes around 2002/early
2003. I didn't visit it that much after that, mainly because I was
still running some lousy internet connection by that time, and couldn't
be arsed to waste hours waiting each time I would want to download one
of those oh-so-huge (yet so awesome) video files. I've re-discovered it
by chance a few years later in 2005 and decided to register.
Anyway, 2005. Just to think of it... time flies.

I know the site from nearly the very start. I remember the days as if it was last week :D
A friend of mine showed me "Clanbase Eurocup 3"-Movie and that was the time when I got interested in q3. Before that I only played UT99 with my 56k. But then on that very LAN I played q3 for the first time, saw my first q3 movie and found the first quake video sites. There was this one site, called something like "army of xxxx"?!?!?!? Can't really remember it well anymore. But that was my #1 ressource for quake movies back then. Later a friend showed me a new site, which was looking fantastic and had a lot of frag movies on it as well > own-age.com. That was how I came to this site here :)
Tho I only registered in '03 and rarely even wrote something in the forums or comments, I still visit this site regulary as it's still THE site for me.
