Yeah indeed, I discovered own-age 3 or 2 months ago but well euhm I was just being lazy :p
Well this one was just released 2 days ago so it's still hot.
Well will these reach the frontpage, I know it's still quake I but the GFX are better then other new games now :o)

THIS IS BY FAR ONE OF THE BEST MOVIES I HAVE SEEN ON OWNAGE EVER!!!
Editting was TOP NOTCH!!!
Frags were good but this isnt a FRAG Highlight movie totally WHICH MAKES IT ALL THE BETTER!
THe Music is Synced PERFECTLY!!!!
Everything works. Editting i have never seen done in a movie.
10/10 for everything. Wallhack to see frags was spectacular instead of the usual go around the wall.
The sync with the movie and music was funny. This movie defines the word movie. Great to look at great to watch. Beautifully made.

I won't be as enthusiastic as PrOnOm4n. It is obvious that you put a lot of work into making this video. It is very nice visually speaking, especially when you think about the GFX engine used for this game, editing is really really great too. The only thing that annoys me is that there is no content in the vid compared to other quakeworld vids I have already seen, like fde1 and 2, or dde 1 and 2. In these vids there are 3x and 4x air gibs, here there are only 1x airgibs. IMO it wastes a little the work on editing. With their content, I would have given an overall 10 like PrOnOm4n, because I would hav eenjoyed editing better.
Alcohol is the answer, but I can't remember the question!

| No way there were plent of air frags. I was happy with what i got in frags the work put into this is what made it what it is. He did something new and he deserves this ungodly nice 10/10. |

Your comment was just as average as like the ones i got at quakeworld newspages, so ill say loudly: THIS ISNT AN QUAKEWORLD MOVIE!!!! it's just normal unmodified gameplay Quake I (also called: netQuake, normalQuake, realQuake)
Thats why I named it netQuake Brotherwars 2 :)
We'll i wont go deeply in the diffrences, but QW is optimized for overall internetplay, more flipped by make things easyer and faster. I can have discussion hours about this ;)
You had a good point but you just didnt know.... :p
(and yes, my next movie will be made of QuakeWorld demos)

The editing was cool, but could of used better frags. The music didnt seem to transition that smoothly, it just cut to the middle of a new song suddenly.
The graphic engine was cool too, did you use the tenebrae mod ? |

| Really liked the movie only think the music wasn't the best choice imo. The effects were nice although maybe a liitle too much of every egnine maybe you should consider using only one engine (i prefer Quake movies with Tenebrae or FuhQuake) than all of them, the frags seemed ok to me although i've seen better in other Quake 1 type movies. Overall a great movie, a keeper for me and addding it to my favorites. |

| For the most part I definately enjoyed watching this vid. Good editing and some nice effects made it fun to watch. My biggest thing is the music selection. While the songs themselves are good they represent some of the most overused songs in videos. Also I kinda wished it was longer but those things aside, nice vid. |

If you'd read the credits again you see 2 sites: www.nqmovie.tk and www.nqeu.tk both from by brother and me :)
at www.nqeu.tk stands for NetQuake Europe (community) Post a message on the public forum to get answers to you questions, netquake isnt a big community anymore and it seems the last good european servers are gone
So thats why I started playing QuakeWorld 5 days ago because A: netquake is kinda dead for the players and B: my next planned movie will be exist of QuakeWorld demos. You can visit the quitte "big" QW community at www.quakeworld.nu (if you really wanna get involved goto #quakeworld at irc.quakenet.org and start asking about the "ready to go" quakepackage: Equake)

this video was very unoriginized. Yes some of the effects were very nice, but in now way was there any syncing with the frags.. All the songs have been used and abused (except for that song taken from the red alert 1 soundtrack) The video skips around a lot and is hard to follow (little to no flow in the video at all)
From what I could make out. the shots were good.. some of the editing was good but the overall flow/feal of the video was just not there.

this movie reminded me of like an art flick or something like that. It looked awesome, effects were really neat, but there was no flow whatsover. Not quite sure what this video was trying to do ( but maybe that is what it was trying to do ?!). I enjoyed it, quake looked beautiful, and the closing scene with the hell nights alone makes the download worthwhile.
QHLan movie was way better flow wise (and the point is obvious, frag vid).
Not quite sure what own-age was watching but the frags were synced.

Looks like a really great movie! But I stopped watching it, because I've got a big codec problem with it. The longer a scene is on the screen, the more artifacts rise from the bottom of the video. They keep coming and destryoing the whole scene until a cut to the next one comes. Then the thing starts over again. Can't enjoy the movie this way. Anyone got some ideas? :/

Xvid, i really dont know which one ive used on it, koepi's xvid doesnt have the error.
