good video. Quality was great (as should be for the filesize) Music seemed to flow with the content very nicely. Video images contain a lot of vivid color and the visual experience is a huge + in this video (meaning the colors and details of the map and players are contained quite nicely). Sometimes I thought the filter you used was a bit much at times, but overall it was still good use of the filter. Of course cetus's runs were great btw. Camera work was well done. Overall, a signifcant improvement from the last video cetus vid. worth the download.

Just kidding! Very enjoyable to watch, good editing, I like the slow mo bits so you can actually SEE what is happening. Good use of music, supporting the movie without distracting from it. Cetus please keep on tricking, mrks I look forward to ur next movie.
A lot of time has been spent, just by the detail in the zip file alone you can tell that this wasn't a rush job. A new favorite :D |

Well, what can i say ? Skill is impressive. CeTuS ownz. Those defrag runs are very good.
Im very happy CeTuS didnt left the community. About editing... well mrks, nice job.
I love that vivid colour effects. For my taste... CeTuS 1 and 2 are a MUST have. Nothing
else, except... i cant wait to see a new freestyle vid from CeTuS. Maybe "The Next Level 2" ?
Thanx for keep the tricking community alive. Also thanx to own-age for hosting this vids and
to it_tricking and Quake Done Quick for beeing my reason to start tricking. Keep running
CeTuS and keep editing Mrks. :)

the only thing I did not enjoy was the UT2k3 song... I have been hearing it for the past year everyday so it gets a little annoying...

only defrag demos... i could dl them from web and see them...only the editing makes the movie really worthy i think...

he doesn't want to compete in defrag. sometimes it got too dramatic and he didnt wanna be a part of it. so he just does it for fun, but if you ask him on IRC for his best time on a map, he'll send you the demo no problem. he does it for fun and i think he really enjoys it
now for my comment on the movie. i was a little disappointed in the length of the video. i wish it was as long as ctm1. i also thought the effect was used WAY too much and at some points i didnt know what was going on bcuz the effect seemed to overwhelm the picture. the quality however was nice tho. of course the content was amazing, thats a no brainer. also, the intro didnt get me into the video near as much as in ctm1 where i almost had a heartattack from all the BOOM BOOM BOOM rape on me. anyways gg

I don't 'get' defrag runs, so i wont pretend to, there's some nice tricking here for sure, and some nice defrag re-camming, which kept things running smoothly and continually interesting.
i know mrks is pretty skilled when it comes to producing movies, so lets cut to the chase.. the stuff i didn't like.
The trapcode starglow effect, or whatever it was that was used throughout this movie, whilst nice in certain parts really ruined it for me in others, with the screen being either totally black, white, or red for prolonged. It'd certainly have benefitted from lessening of the effect in certain places. Mrks also seems to've pulled out the stops when it comes to using practically every other vegas efffect - just for the sake of it or not, i'm not sure, but i understand it can be difficult coming up with new ways to do clip transitions ;-)
The smoothness of some sections is also questionable with a noticeable drop to almost half-frame rate, whilst perfectly smooth in others, certainly avoidable. Another thing which grated with me was the pain noise of the player every couple of seconds. I like sound effects as much as the next man, but that sound just gets annoying over and over and over again.
I was pretty shocked to see the mp3's included with the movie, and have often wondered about anyone taking legal steps against frag movie producers / distributers because of the music used, hopefully distributing mp3's of copyrighted music with the zip file isn't something that'll turn in to a trend.. :-S
Overall though the movie flowed well, and was over all too shortly, which is always a sign of a good movie. here's waiting for badge4. :)
edit: oh, forgot to mention, props to mrk for trying a totally different config/look, something i've been toiling with the past couple of days. it may not've worked 100% but it looked real nice in places.
