Description:
The most anticipated CS:S film to date is here and premiers this afternoon on the one and only SourceRadio Movie Vault. My personal favorite film in the CS:S Vault is Surreal 2 with a close second being Surreal. You can only imagine the delighted expression on my face when I received notice that Surreal 3 was complete. I had the chance to take a sneak peek at this film and I will admit, it was one of a kind. The intro didn't really appeal to me all that much and seemed to be lacking something. The movie is more or less 4 sequences long, the 1st sequence is very fast paced and powered by frags. The editing in the first and second sequence is minimalist yet the frags are outstanding. The players featured in the film are mainly based out of Europe and their is also some pug/mix footage included.
So once you get past the first and second "frag" sequences you hit the third, and the first thing you will notice is a very clean shake to the music. The video is perfectly sync 'd with the soundtrack from start to finish. There are several no ideas brought into the third sequence and more than a few "unbelievable" shots. Then the movie takes a twist. The fourth sequence has never done before, the most amazing use of a soundtrack takes place here, and this soundtrack has slowed down. My initial reaction while watching this movie at this point, was "holy shit". The use of a slower paced soundtrack is almost seductive and the bullet sequence in this section is by far the most amazing to date. All the way down to the credits this movie is truly defined by one word, amazing.

Hi guys. My name is Manuel "Lepi" Lepitschnik and i am one of the movie makers in the Infected Productions movie crew. I am 22 years old and a huge movie fan, it doesn't matter if it's CS, CS:S, or Hollywood movies. I am happy that surreal 3 is done and that I won't have to deal with another community movie for a while. It is just too much work, maybe I'll make another community movie in the future, but not for a while, that's for sure. Max "Velda" Sereduke is working on a Community movie at the moment called Climax, and this is going to be one of the best source community movies ever.

At the moment we are working on the reason gaming movie, which is edited by Phil "DeadCell" Mcparlane, and we are working on the movie that won the Ebay Auction, but this will be shorter then we thought and will be less money as well. Other then that we are working on Climax and looking to talk to top clans around the world to find the right project for us.

I've never downloaded a source movie before and my expectations weren't that high about this movie. I had no idea that the game looks that good. I mean, I've seen some video clips of the game and it has always been blurry and all, but this one is cristal clear and looks great.
The editing was well done. Awesome job synching the last part and I liked it alot. Only thing I found disturbing was the greenish blurry effect between some scenes. Made my eyes twitch. It was good that you didn't spam the movie with effects during the frag parts.
I don't know much about source so I have no idea if the frags were good or bad, but I didn't enjoy them. Well, only thing I enjoyed about this movie was the editing. I'm not that fond of cs-movies, but even if I do not enjoy the game, it doesn't mean the movie is bad.
Well overall, this movie is well made and if someone finds source interesting, download this one. Best made fragmovie I've seen in a while.

I don't like this vid cause it is lagging like hell on my PC cause of the fact that EVERY mp4 file is lagging here. I hate this format...
But I don't think you will release a version with a worse quality but working codec like xvid or smth :D
The music at the beginning sounded nice though... |

I'm a little disappointed. I expected too much. Everytime the same effects and a boring intro. I thought this would be the best source movie for every time. But no, it's not. I missed the fun while looking at it. I heard the music in more then five other movies. The effects like the flying bullet are in other movies (Obi.net, Awoken Dreams). And the Frag content...well i thought you tried to fill your space with any frags. Most of them were luck and the really good frags were made by the professional gamers of the eps. And the frags from Cbble are in many fragmovies, too. Not with the same players but with the same content.
It's very well done, but not as good as Kodiak 3 and so on.

music 5/10
effects 7/10
content 9/10
all in all 7/10 not from the editing, but i expected more after i saw the trailer.
Pls don't flame on this comment and don't think, that i have no idea of what is a good fragmovie. I saw the best and the worst fragmovies. |

uhhmm with what program are you suppose tho watch this qause in VLC-media player it lags and it freezes the screen of the movie, and after that it is a lot of pixels. so who knows how tho fix this?

There might be something wrong with the encoding..If you cant watch out you can always check out source-radio.net and go to the movie vault.
LoL at the description. The chilled down part at the end is not this amazing breakthrough in cs movie making, its been done plenty before, and wasnt THAT good. |

I really expected more after such a long waiting time :(
edit.: Not dissapointing at all :D just rwatched it and it was EXTREMELY good (how fast ppls behaviours can change, ay?)

This is a good CSS movie, which is obviously rare.
Editing was almost flawless especially when it comes to synchronization, that kept me entertained for the entire movie, even the credits.
The only huge con I see is the use of the last music, the beginning of it and how you edited it was pretty boring, besides, it looked like you were trying to mimmic cRZYFST's EVE movie...Maybe you weren't, I'm just saying it looked like it.

Is it me or is this laggy as hell no matter what media player i use? (got the codec and tried winamp, wmp, VLC and the Media Player Classic)
