Description:
This video is nearly one year old, so I`m posting it on this site , because of this message that has shown to me when I was searching for the title: "no video found under the requested ID most likely this video ID never exsisted or has not been assigned yet"
The most known Olschool players and newcomers in cs 1.3 - 1.6 & CS:CZ with their clutch abilities in match verve.
Let me start by thanking you for your interest in my film. I appreciate it (honestly).
This film is a compilation of some of the most well-known and impressive clutch rounds in history. For my purposes, I limited myself only to rounds that were decided by one player facing a multitude of enemy players (technically sunman’s “Shot Heard Round the World” is a one on one, but if I left that out, I would be lynched). All the rounds contained in this film are 1 v x situations (for a complete rundown of all the scenes and links to all the demos, please see “clutch – frags.txt” contained in this zip).
The movie is done in x264. If you have problems getting it to play, check the problems.txt included in this zip. I encoded at a fairly high bitrate for x264 (it's smaller than it would've been as a wmv or xvid file), but I have no interest in sacrificing quality for a few extra MB in the days of hundred GB hard drives.
So, dozens of demos and hundreds of GBs of raw footage (not to mention several months) have led to this. I apologize for the choppiness of some scenes; unfortunately, some of the scenes happened four or more years ago, and only laggy demos are available. I did everything I could to reduce the lag. In addition, I couldn’t get rid of the ****ing HLTV logo in Bullseye’s 1v3 against 4K (I looked at every sprite and .wad file, I even tried hex editing it, nothing worked), so you’ll just have to deal with it.
Thanks to my friends and family for humoring me through this process. Thanks especially to my loving partner Heather for, if not understanding, at least putting up with this project. Thanks to Gotfrag, own-age, and every other site that hopefully hosts this. Thanks to all the players, events and sponsors who help make great tournaments, and great rounds like these, possible. Finally, thanks to you, the viewer, for watching. I hope you enjoy it.
Finally, the legal mumbo-jumbo. The contents of this zip file, including, but not limited to, “Clutch.mp4,” “readme.txt,” “clutch-frags.txt,” and “problems.txt” are copyrights of Sam Pollach, 2006. Feel free to redistribute this zip file or host it wherever you wish (including ftps and bit-torrent), but any redistribution must include ALL files included in the original zip and credit me. If you feel like you want to use something from this movie, give me credit. If you charge for users to download this movie, I demand a cut of the profits.
