lol yea i was losting trying to download, but good video nice frags but after watching the video for 3mins my eyes killed all the bright lights and shit wow =/ but good effect's cool intro nice job.

| im just the opposite it seemed overdosed and frags seemed kinda regular from a viewer point. but thats not my problem my question is why spend 1:40 sec on a slow intro so the title can come up for another 10 sec u lost so much time in the intro. |

i watched it and it didnt stay. i'm deceived tbh and here's why:
- he mentioned there were better frags in other demos, why not ask people what their favourite frags are or watch demos where you *know* that they're excellent, apheleon, rat, voo etc etc?
- as stated above the frags were mere average, but they were also a bit too overloaded with effects, badge was visually more balanced.
- the frags themselves were just aligned one after the other, no slowmotion, no names and due to the effects sometimes it took a few seconds to know what map it was. badge had no names because it were two people fragging but in such frag movies attaching player names improves the viewing experience by alot.
the intro was nice and i spotted 3-4 frags that were really impressive but they got lost in the mass :/ |

What do you think he did? You can't know that there will be good frags in a video unless you watch it, even if Aph, Rat or Voo are playing in it. I admit that all the frags were not that good, and some of them were really bad, but I saw many good frags, and some excellent (triple mid-air, a serie of spawn-rape, etc...). Maybe he should have been more selective on shots, or watched more of them, but it really takes time, that is why he mentionned that he couldn't show all the best frags, but only some of them. A good vid, with some nice frags (and some cpma in it :p), original and worth the DL, but not a keeper.
Alcohol is the answer, but I can't remember the question!

Thanx for review, I have to say some words to excuse :D
1. About lenght: I'm using only 40 GB HDD and after exporting 60 frames/sec. from Q3 I have no more free space :( Movie was designed to be: ~1.40 min. of intro + all ACDC song of frags + ~1-2 min. of end titles. Because of no more free space I cut it.
2. About better frags, yes sure I could ask people to send me demos with frags, ok, but using my connection what was imposible to download all demos people sent (unfortunately my conn. is 56kbps modem - you know what it is ?! ) Besides: where should I post info about it, no one know me and I'm not such popular as an author of The Badge series.
3. About red :) I've been testing movie on 4-5 monitors and it didn't look so bad like people say :/ Now I see it was not enough.
4. And last one: so many effects together. There was 2 versions of P_Ex_PM one w/o that blur (I don't even know how to call it ;) -inspired by Cetus...) only with shine and red color balance, second w/ blur - which you've been watching. Reading all comments (on only here) I'm not sure if my choice was good ;)

coz i cannot dl it from filefont, as usual the dl get cancelled there at 99%... just like it allways was if i tried to dl something from filefont..... SUX :( |

As far as music... Ghost in the shell music already used (and used well) in the very popular european Clanbase movie. This movie needed less effects.

| The massive use of that shine effect lowered this video content alot in my opinion. Some of the frags were nicely synched to music I liked that. The long spawnrapes and multiple air rockets were great to watch aswell. Overall good video but it would have been even better with less shine effect. |
