Review by oTis
Summary:
+ very download-able video thats highly recommended to anybody that enjoys quake 3 trick jumping
- wouldn't be suggested to anybody that's not a fan of quake 3 or is looking for new editing standards
Creativity: 5
- othing really new here, but it's not that expected.
Editing: 7
+ pretty well edited for a first movie.
+ all good looking maps for maximum quality throughout the movie
+ good looking colors
+ fairly good synchronizing
+ simple, yet affective, texts for the names, maps and times which was continued during both intro/outro sections
- a little too much slow-mo/timescale use-age (even the intro/outro were slow-mo)
- too many 'blackouts' [can't keep a good focus on the run if you don't know the map/route]
- long and drawn out intro/outros
- maybe one of the most entertaining runs (for me at least) was during the outro
- little too much cam work for my liking
- map in the intro was not used in the movie (and I wanted to see it :p)
- would of liked to of seen more runs
Content: 9
+ entertaining content with a little bit of a mixture of both physics modes
+ impressive times on carefully picked maps for ultimate visual appeal
- I believe I saw come choppiness on a section of a run, but it might of just of been the cam
Quality: 8
+ pretty good quality, with both picture quality and map quality being high
- would of liked a wider resolution!
Overall: 7
+ very enjoyable defrag video with great content and simply, clean editing
- too much slow-motion, as well as slow intro/outro sections
