| Wow, Shaolin is not dead? Maybe there's still hope for us after all.
The movie looked like it was done overnight and as such it wasn't a terrible one. But it's not something I'd market Shaolin with ;)
Just gear up guys and bring us another enjoyable full movie, pretty please. |

this is ashr. for some reason the site craps out when i log in to my other account.
anyway, @yourself - this movie isn't really a big project at all. i know the frags are old and have been used before. i used them because i just wanted to showcase some great q3 moments in the game's competitive history which does include classic frags of course. most of the frags were done in tournaments or at the very least in practice games between VERY high skilled vq3 players. about the font, it's subjective. i for one like times new roman a lot. about the filesize, i probably do owe people an apology. i didn't have a lot of time for this vid at all and it should be evident by its length. i used the small break i got during last weekend when i wasn't bogged down with work irl. i'm sorry i didn't have time to do compression tests but the few encodes i did looked bad with a lower filesize. in the end, i decided to upload the one which had good looking picture quality as quite a few people can download 200mb in around 10 mins. it's not an excuse for poor compression but i couldn't do better.
@azn - this isn't to market shaolin at all. i haven't made a gaming vid in a very long time and i missed it a lot. made this on a sheer whim and it felt good to be working on it. hopefully i will release a bigger video soon. this helped me kinda remember q3 movie making :)

| quality was very poor for 720p hm:/ (maybe i dont like xvid, maybe should be more fps or bitrate) .. yeah right there are some very old frags , too short... |

Lotsa nice frags, didn't really mind the reused content in here. Also the 1st person pov/recams ratio was excellent. Texts looked too simple for my taste however, like they were just put there you know (the font in itself was fine, just felt like some plain white text without even the slightest shadow effect looked too unfinished to deserve its place into the "final product").
