Well then. That mb/min ratio with x264 certainly proves that you are not capable of doing a proper x264 video. Anyway, edit tomorrow after dling this mb-monster.

First of all, please do correct me if I'm wrong about some piece of information. This might sound a bit harsh.
My point in this post is only to figure out some things, so 1c3, I'd be really happy if you'd respond to this message. From what I've learned, this is your sixth (6th) movie post to own-age.com, right? I think I've seen all of your movies. If not all, at least the newest ones and I really don't see that much difference in your movies. I think all of 'em are average or below. When I watch your movies I basically just wait when it ends. There's just so many flaws in them and you could fix those flaws easily if you try harder. By now, you should've learned from your mistakes from the feedback you got from previous movies and fixed those mistakes in the newest one since it's already your 6th movie. If you haven't got any constructive critisism then I'll try to do that now.
Bad quality/compression/filesize: read some XviD/x264 tutorials about making a proper compression. It's good that you use dumpframes instead of fraps but it still feels like the fps is 10 or something, really choppy.
No color correction: The colours in UT2004 are dark, dull and boring so this is why you need to enhance brightness/contrast and use for example Color Balance in Adobe After Effects to change color settings.
Unnecessary/boring/bad rypelcam: There's no point of showing a camrun if nothing interesting happens during it, the game is just paused or a gorge model is just jumping somewhere and camera rolls here and there. Read some tutorials of rypelcam from http://rypelcam.net/_3vo/ and use more time to create cams. Play with different angles and fov/roll.
Frags: try to get better frags, if there are over 50% of headshots it always gets boring.
Music: try get original songs that haven't been used in movies before. Don't use the same type of music in every movie you make.
Effects: You use only few effects and you don't use them well. Try to come up with new, original effects and transitions but don't overuse effects as you did before.
I think it's okay if one likes to make fragmovies, no problem with that, but what is your point when you make fragmovies? When someone makes something, well let's say fragmovie from some game, it usually has a purpose. My purpose for moviemaking is that I want to show great frags and skill as nicely as I can to the audience and I like moviemaking in general. What is your purpose for making movies? Do you just like making movies or do you want to be an entertainer for the community and create something new? Don't you want to improve with your editing skills?
I brought these subjects up to get some answers for myself and maybe you'll learn also something. Don't take it too personal, there are many many movies that are worse than yours. I'm just trying to understand and help you.

Dude, you´re so right what you said..that my movies are all "the same". At most i really dont know HOW to make good szenes...i just think, "hmm this could b ok i think so letz build it in the movie" but ..hmm...i dont know, i think i dont have much ideas of creating new things. Also this was the first time i handled with x264, so i knew that this is getting wrong :S. So 1 thing i didnt understand: dont you like my rypels? id ont know...mayb some more should comment it, caus i as good as always thought that my rypels are really good - not all but most of them. I really dont know how to make a movie, which is enjoyable for all ppl.
Answer of your last question: so at first, movie making is like dreams come true :)
There´s no more thing i like as to make movies for a community with ut players (and others) like me. At first i like to make movies, to show my best frags to others, and to get comments like your´s. i like it when ppl comment me, this is a possibility to learn and trough mistakes :) - and on secound position is to show my "movie-making-skills" to others. I always know that there´ll b much much critic, but its ok, caus no1 likes things that others like :)
so...mayb when u have xfire or something, we could change our experiences =)
Post a reply when u have time and thanks for your comment dude =)

Yeah, I think that people haven't put as much emphasis on commenting the camruns as they should've. If you really want to see what good and creative camruns look like you should watch these following movies (I'm sure you've probably seen 'em all but those kind of camruns are your goal):
Fragmovie by jarnul , there's a lot of different, almost absurd angles where the cam runs... so absurd that it looks really cool. There's also a lot of playing around with fov/roll also.
devilmc the movie by Electry , again a lot of fast and crazy camruns with style.
GROULINK by Flesh , plenty of creative camruns.
When it comes to your camruns, it seems that the only people who said something about them are probably your friends or people who know you better and they are maybe too subjective on commenting the camruns compared to for example other moviemakers. The only way to improve your skills is to make a lot of different camruns and show them to people. Remember to use "video testers" during the movie who can be objective towards your production.
