The screenshots look really scary as I'm no fan of seizure inducing glow BUT I did like mellow darkness so I got my hopes up :)
EDIT: I did like it, it was beautiful, atmospheric and had a very fitting music. The biggest problem was the darkness. In mellow darkness it worked, now it was too much, it just prevented me from seeing what was going on at times. |

| "They both cheat of course but hey, who cares when they give creativity a whole new meaning. Ebola though has some legit tricks in this movie!" I won't download is then, because I'm not looking for timescaled tricks. |

Only By looking at the screenshots I was a little sad. I know you are a great movie editor but I wish you will try something else in your futur movies or maybe its your style so I respect it. So creativity a 5/10
about the content dont want to begin that timesacale subject, I vote 9 cause of the content of the movie itself, trikcs, maps and musics.
I exactly recognize all the hard works you have done in this movie, the effect seems do be perfect, so...
well done!

i liked your thinking behind this movie and the purpose for it, i think you achieved what you set out to do.
what i don't like is the same color settings you've used, i hope in your next movie you can branch out from that :)
hope to see more of your work soon |

Ok, watched it again with a bit more thought in a dark room from a 32" screen. The things that I did not like: 1. The leaves were a nice touch BUT the ones you could see throught just didn't work. 2. Glow. This time around the darkness actually bothered me less but now the glow kinda jumped from the screen. It wasn't movie wrecking like in some cases but it was enough to irritate me in few scenes. (3.) A very small complaint: camerawork didn't give a good overview at times but I have no problems with it because the cams served the music and feeling above all else.
Other than that... I just loved it. The atmosphere is superb, the colours match the title and the feeling, same goes for the darkness/lighting in general (though a bit overboard at times). And the music... Well, let's just say I'm going to hunt that track down.
I don't think the seeming lack of creativity was an issue here. I think this was an attempt to perfect a feeling/atmosphere seen in negoxe's previous movies and to some degree it worked. Some of the effects were simply beautiful and well used, such as the northern lights -type thing in the sky. Same goes for the content. This movie didn't serve the content, it never was the movies purpose. I'm just waiting for someone say how the content was presented in a bad way so that I can tell them how stupid they are and how they missed the movie's point. The content is there to serve the music and the atmosphere.
Maybe I'm just giving the movie too much credit but I can't help if it has the things I like about in a movie; chilled and atmospheric. In any case, negoxe, you succeeded in your objective; after watching the movie I really did feel relaxed. Cheers. |

| I have a same opinion, like you. Old movies and few new movies has a very good atmosphere and that's what make them special. Although I made two movies and I think I slowly gets better, I still did not reach this magic boarder - atmospheric movie. Your work was very good, it was relaxing, not about content ( after the end of the movie, I didn't remember even one trick), but about style, atmosphere, about feeling. Color setting was quite, let's say interesting sometimes, but those effects of leaves and especially "tentacle-sun" really touched my heart. Those were great, fresh and interesting. Good job, man. It's pity, that you want to leave a scene. |

As you mentionned the kind of color correction you used had already been used before, so originality is not the main point of the movie. Tricks are good but timescaled, but as you mentionned, tricks are here to serve the movie, and not the opposite, as it is usually the case in gaming movies. I liked the music, but overall I didn't feel anything special for this movien maybe because it is all slow motion, and I prefer fast paced movies. Imo you made a mistake, because sometimes you show the tricks at their real speed, when the movie is still slow, so it is unsync'ed. Anywya the movie overall is good in its kind, but it is not my taste.

Alcohol is the answer, but I can't remember the question!

I don't know how many read the readme, but the reason why this movie is so much like mellow Darkness, is that I just didn't have any new ideas. Still, I wanted to make one last movie, since I knew I could make something even cooler with the same idea. I'm glad that the movie did what it was meant for, atleast for some people.
Ohh and as a side note, I finally found a way to dodge BiggY's vote. Yay for that. |

This movie deserves more downloads than a bit over 300 - period. Like the description says, this movie has feeling in it. When I watch it, I feel joy for all the things this video brings to me. Image-wise it's pure eyecandy all way through. And the song, well it brings back memories from my youth so I like it a lot. These type of movies are rare unfortunately... Movies nowadays are filled with action and fast editing and fast music so when you watch too many of those, you get frustrated. I can only be grateful that sometimes comes a movie where the pieces of the puzzle come together and create an atmosphere that is peaceful and yet passionate...
Oh well. That probably sums it up. Great movie. :D
