Yeah, this video was supposed to be done in January, but if you look on my youtube much, you'll see that I've been distracted making other vids. Next video I make will likely follow the guidlines of a more traditional frag movie, but with more bullet time effects and such. I realize the frags are low grade, but I don't think it too shabby considering it was all from one little pub session very early after the games release.
One thing I'm sort of disatisfied with that I didn't notice until it was too late, was how washed out my colors and contrast became after compressing it with x264. This was my first time using the codec, and was pretty excited about the file size resulets compared to xvid. It wasn't until I deleted many of the source files that I realized the gamma or brightness was off. It really lost a lot of the contrast from the huffyuv version :(
Maybe I'll make a post in the forums for some noob friendly tips with x264. |
