Hmm... I was expecting a frag video but this really isn't... maybe it started out as one but this is mostly a quake 3 music video and probably should not have been put under 'frag highlights' category. There were a lot of overused noise effects in here and that took away from the intro, made it look cheap. There were some good spots in the movie, but it was almost like flipping through channels to find something good to watch. I have to say that this video really did not go anywhere special for a frag video, seeing how it didn't have much great content.

On both links for filefront i get message "Your download has failed. The file you are attempting to download is
restricted to an access group of which you are not a member.", I sign in and i still get the same message, Upload to another mirror, try Quakeunity.com

The vimeo stream is fine, but yeah I get that message too.. happened once on a cs video as well for me.

Good video overall, There is a lot here i need to comment about,
First,I wasn't sure what to expect when it was starting, also, I like the font for "you fragged" that was nice, i don't like the over used effect that much on every clip, It just didn't seem "awesome" as it could of been, Other effects were nice tho, I didn't get why you added lyrics to the bottom of the screen, I wasn't sure if i was watching a Q3A video or was i watching a video that i couldn't turn off subtitles
I like how you did the end credits,
Music was fitting, editing is good, frags are good, effects ok i spose
-Overall: 7.5

+ creativity (quite some nice ideas in there)
+ colorcorrection (just a tiny bit too dark)
+/- cams (some good cams but mostly too close to follow the action)
+/- music (well synced, some nice music parts but also some "headache"-parts)
+/- content (some really great stuff in there, but looked like also lots of "standard" frags... maybe I missed some due to the noise tho)
- cropping (do real 16:9 or 16:10 but keep your hands of from cropping, especially when filling the crop so ugly)
- right bottom corner (just too big and ugly)
- noise (a bit of noise from time to time is nice... but that was overused and so ruined a lot)
I have hardly been so divided about a rating... the huge + parts would make me considering even an 8+/10... but seeing the stuff which ruined a lot, makes me considering a 5/10 on the other hand. |

What I like: The movie is original compared to other Q3 movie, that is a big point. Original songs and editing style. I love the INSANE PART really good and the Intro was ok
What I did not like: The overused noise effect, the darknest all the time was too much, Make it difficult to understand what is going on. It's begin to be overedited, all the effects all the time.
Sometimes I dont feel that I am watching a quake 3 movie!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Content was average, some shots were good that's all. excepted the insane part I dont enjoy it :(
give it a 7/10 for the effort on editing, but you could have done something better IMO

not bad editting was cool at first but it shouldve ended at the intro. could barely see what looked like decent frags for most of the movie because of those annoying bars/white shit accross the screen. music choice is all about taste but infected mushroom has been killed in gaming vids, and there are other similar sounding alternatives. all in all not bad
for the lulz |
