downloading... going to take a bit, even though it is such a small file.. anyone who has downloaded this already, whats the quality like? :\
This video was really slow paced :[ and not the smooth slow :\ but the jagged slow. the video was a nice watch, nothing great though. how did you record everything? fraps? dumpframes? the ingame thing?

| TBH it was my 1st vid , was testing ryple angles and tried to make something different.
i used basic stuff like Vdub and wmm.
frags arent that special i know but it was basicly an editing test for me more than anything else.
tnx for the comment m8 , ill make sure to learn from it and make a much better movie next time using real hardcore editing ! and do my homework .

What do you mean the waiting is over? I thought the waiting started when I played the video...I just waited for the ending, you should've put "The waiting is over" -text to the end, that would've been funny :D
I really don't understand why people like you can't learn the basic things about making movies... I'm sure there are a handful of tutorials that would help you along the way... but no.
I think I'll write some more later on but that's about what I wanted to say.

i am sorry but your movie nearly bored me to death :(
i understand when you show a spectacular scene a second time in slow motion, but the whole movie was in uber-slow-motion, what just downgraded every frag in this movie from "maybe good" to "everyday, noobs on ffa bashing".
also i didnt like the use of infected mushroom.
ut is a fast game, so keep the action alive or make a slow movie and do it right, like PINNACLE http://www.own-age.com/vids/video.aspx?id=12069 |

Haha, that describes it perfectly! :D
Sry eZz, but even for your 1st movie it was a bad try. :/ I hope, you won´t stop movie making now. I suggest (like some already said) that you watch other popular UT movies and read tutorials about movie making.
The main thing is to get the action of the game into the movie. One way how you DON`T do this is by making a 100% slow motion video. You need speed. And you need interesting/funny/awesome frags.
It was a good idea to try with rypelCam. It supports UT movies very well. But you should rather learn the basics before going a step further and cam around. |
