the cs fragvideo community really has to stop using linkin park , or at the very least use something of theirs besides "numb" and "faint".
It's only after you've lost everything that you're free to do anything. |

Yah LP is'nt even that good... it certainly is a shame that so many CS movies use it ;x

The very nature of Counter Strike prohibits any form of creativeness or originality.
Insane amounts of people in the world have barely tried other games than CS. So to expect them to listen to anything else than Linkin' freakin' park is out of the question.
I have nothing against Linkin Park. Many of their songs are nice to listen to. But after a while you feel like listening to something else for a change.
The same goes for games.
Back when I was addicted to QuakeWorld I thought I'd never play anything else for my entire life. Didn't take long until I realised I'd miss out on a whole lot of great gaming experiences and started playing other games.
The common Counter Striker however, sits in his parents basement listening to "Linkin Park - Numb" while playing de_dust 24/7 year after year.
Offer good music for cs-films? Damned near anything as long as it feels original and creates the right mood for the viewer.

And using LP - Numb is not a good idea, as it was used in eoLithic Tribute, the prequel to the M19 movie.
