Get yourself some better tricks for the vid. I saw a lot of basic plasma/OB's. Dont congest the vid with already seen footage over and over. Try to be as creative as possible. My only complaint with the cams is that the "tilt" of it was way way overused. Try to make it more subtle for a nicer effect. Just my opinions. Looks like you've got some pretty decent editing/3d modeling skills. I cant wait to see more from ya.
edit: i also loved how great the tricks were in synch with the music. very good job.
edit2: I really liked they way you gave the defrag runs a good sense of speed. :)

Basic tricks aside, that was actually really enjoyable to watch. Loved the synching to tricks and as punk said, you made the defrag runs race along nicely. Can't wait for the full release.. just work on some more new tricks instead of some i was watching on SysOp's movies years ago ;)

Just downloaded it, and i must say, it does look like its going to be something which ill hold onto. Just listen to the points posted above, and you cant go wrong. I liked the sync, was very well done. Overall, good job, shame we didnt see much of your lightwave skills, will we in the final? Gj Anywho

hehe ..... DAMN FUCK .. *smile over my face ..
after the first houres of waiting for comments .. now reading .. im VERY HAPPY about this critic - be sure i dont get anything wrong ..
what i have done till now i just learned from others.. and i know there is MUCH MUCH more to learn .. and it would be foolish just make some thing and than post somthing that is as you say thing that we all have seen years ago :o/
i just start playing quake 3 last year when my hardware was good enough so i think im a bit late behind the most of you.. but also dont give up hope that i can make this movie unique
future plans:
i decided to put out many simple tricks -- (first idea was show ALL tricks of each level .. ) but you are right this would be boring after some watching.. the defrag runs .. i decide to take level that was not used too much right now. hope that people can enjoy them more then just the same again and again.. special will be .. some maps of defrag i will run forward and then backward .. (not backward moving .. - ) i mean back to the start .. from goal back to spawn point .. will need to find some maps which make that (nearly) possible
i will also put frags into the movie .. but not just simple air rocket maybe some combination - trick jump as overbounce rocketjump combination and in the air double rail or tripple rail ..
but one thing im sure of .. i have to choose just the best things out of my footage . .. ok im prowed of my suxxed of some jumps but .. after all .. i cant be prowed if the people just see what they saw each day ... so with your help .. (also the help pf the people who train with me who teach me who gives me tips or just show me how magic quake can be...)
i think i will make a special addon video just for say thanx ;o)
for the upcoming comments .. feel free to critizize everything .. also my bad english ..hehe

I think it's very hard, maybe impossible, to make a movie look good if it's over 20 minutes long, no matter how good the content is... Indeed better to cut down on the content and make it 10 awesome minutes then 30 minutes of awesome and mediocre minutes.
Great job so far, good synching, although I find that the fast forward bits, just to sync to the music, feel 'rushed': things just move too fast and in some situations it's less visible to see what happens (not all the time, in the strafejumps it might work). Slowmotion is more dramatic.
The bits on Q3DM18 made me feel a bit dizzy ;) it's like a rollercoaster in a cinema, nice for a few seconds but then it has to stop :P
The cams on that map were quite good.
Hope to see the end result :)

This movie r0x0rz!
I saw allot of movies, and this is in my top 3, i'm really looking forward to see the whole thing.
- Some plasma tricks where kinda small... but perfectly done.
- Also there is a touch of humor in the movie, i like that.
- tip, camera is spinning allot, keep that to a minimum, at the beginning the 1st time i did not know what you'r doing. Now i know (watched it like 20 times)
- The sync of the music is VERRY good!
- Nothing more to ad, only that this is a VERRY good "trailer" of what to come.
Looking for a trickjump clan, really i need one, i have bin jumping on my own for toooo long.
So if you people know a few who accept members plz tell me...
BTW: sorry for spelling errors...
