well then. great content for one. some great action caught in different angles. gg for ingame sounds. unfortunately the visual quality was just not what it should have been which would have made this a keeper. gj

very enjoyable editor has a style I like dunno why, nicely split up into parts with some VERY nice kills and caps
but yes the editing looked un-polished to put it nicely :) buldges, spin blur and lense flares were :/
and quality / compression need work. just read the fourms its all there, those things should not be a problem any more O_O

thx for your comments... but about the quality of the compression it's not totally my fault...
The 1st version of my movie was about 330 Mb (30Mb/min) with good quality. But "own-age" doesn't want to put it on host if the compression setting is more than 20 Mb/min (it is the rules now...)
2nd, i make a mistake to export the screenshot with "vertex light", lightmap is better, but it was too late when i saw my mistake, and i finished the movie with vertex lightning. but it's true, i put too much effects on some actions

it's true, i try to stop since 1 year !! it's a long, long way...
murah, i understand you :o) i have another version, with less effects 14min30 long and 430 Mb (it was my 1st of 1st version before that PQ3 Roger doesn't want to put it on host, and then i decided to make a light version (11min30 and 330 Mb) and the 3rd version takes 250 Mb <-- Low quality)

Some nice frags, but for me most of them were not very good, but I have never been able able to enjoy any ctf vid, so maybe I am missing the stuffs.
Honnestly I didn't really like the movie, because of the visual quality (not only about the vertex, but about the picmip too that seemed too high). The compression quality was very bad, especially for that filesize, and I am sorry bu 20Mb/min allows you to get very decent quality. Music was not original (except Moby, they have all been used in at least 1 or 2 movies before). Some good effects but sometimes there were too much of them. Please don't show the same frags twice or three times.

well tbh i didnt like this movie much at all. it had very poor quality as pointed out already. there wasnt much editing that i enjoyed bu the recams were nice. nothing new at all either. the content didnt impress me much either. there were some nice shots but the majority was regular stuff i see in pubs, pickups, scrims and matches all the time. and why on the flag return section you dont return the flag sometimes? lol. also on the flag cap section, once you get holy shit'd and dont even go pick it up after and cap. i dont get that. anyways i might sound harsh but i expected a bit better.
also on another note, the quality/compression IS your fault lol. plz dont try and blame it on own-age.com rules that many others can follow no problem :/

i enjoyed this movie. at first the visual quality got to me, but i forgot about it once the game sound came in. I like the feel I got when I watched this movie; it felt like i was playing pickup ctf. It's not fancy but its honest, I enjoyed it.

Otis, i don't want to blame anybody, and certainly not "own-age", i accept the criticisms...
I encode from an HIGH Full quality movie (MJPEG Codec, 100 % <-- File of 4 GB) with divx pro codec 5.1.1 <-- 2 pass. I don't know how i can make more ?
Don't compare a slow movie, with "fixes cam", or a DVD RIP where there is only 3 or 4 actions explosions during the film... with a Q3 movie where the actions never stop.
Next time i will not make the same errors. because, I am sure that if the video was darker with lightmap, the divx encoding would have been more effective...
I keep an high quality version for me :o)
