The quality isn't that good. I tried to use xvid two pass but the first pass kept coming out with no picture, and I used the settings used for iT2, but maybe I did something wrong. In the end I just used divx and just upped the bitrate a bit.

No excuse for bad quality in ut2k4 vids anymore. The latest patch adds:
dumpframes start
dumpframes stop
in console. You can use them just like fraps and only record what you need, and it dumps uncompressed bitmaps in your screenshots directory at whatever res you're running at. |

Anyone can get perfect screenies dumped. But noone can get the video looking just as good as the tgas/bmps/whatever with good enough compression.
Didnt see the movie yet, i suppose the lack of q3 movies and the sountrack having kewl names makes me dl this... Be back with comments on the movie later. |

This was the worst film ive seen. Total crap imho. Poor quality, frag after frag after frag with no meaning at all. No syncing in music, no effects.. actually i stopped watching it before the halfway even. Get some content in your video or dont make them.
What a waste of bandwidth downloading it.

The worst? Har, have you seen MarioVsAll!? THAT''S the worst haha people will know what I'm talking about. :D (only 6.6 mb) :p
As I already comment @ badct.de I gave it 6/10 because of the part from the third song is getting better with frags music and not to fast as it is in the beginning.

I know about the dumpframes command, but that's new, it came with the latest patch that came out not too long ago. I started working on this movie about two months ago. I'll sure give this a try and try to use it for the next movie, which will be a lot better in pretty much every aspect. :)

| the dumpframes does not work correctly if u kept up with the beta testing, in the next patch they will be rewriting the demorec code so that i can work correctly. |

Well Powerslave pretty good for first vid :D, but... ;-)
IMHO
It started really good tho, but in the mid i just got a lil bored and turn the frag vid off. But after a while i looked @ it again and i skipped to the end :X. Like already stated compression is a lil bit off but no biggie, next time u get it right :).
+ some frags where good :), well the only frag that i really liked was the flak air bal :D
+ music good
+ sync
- well a lot frags where regular :x
- compression
- It was to long, the first 5 min was excellent, after that u know what happend :x
Well overall i liked it..

Was not all bad :D The music rocked :) some of the frags where pretty nice.
Don't really have much to say about it other then GJ on your first movie :P The next one will be better for sure.
