pretty cool vid. quality is pretty good and whatnot, the tricks arent like amazingly complex, but a lot more advanced then some of the first 'tricks' videos which basically showed you how to get in obvious spots. cool vid, nice strafe jump towards the end.

I dunno what happend but after unrarring I tryed to play in media player and an error showed up. And every time I tryed to go to the map where I extracted the movie to some other explorer error showed up... Anybody else have this prob?

Good vid, shows some nice things ;D!
But D3 looks like a boreing multiplayer game!
The game is so dark, you cant see anything :S
Do all maps look the same?

I dunno, pretty basic, still screams "I just want to be one of the first ones to make a d3 vid" to me, which doesn't fly with me at all.
I mean just from jumping around waiting for someone to come in during tourney mode, I've found some really hard to do stuff :)
But anyway, definately nice if you're new to dm1, which IMO is a good TDM map. Couple things in there I'm sure not many knew of, I know I only found out about the 5 armor shards up in basement room 2 days ago. And the jump up the electronic thing in the chaingun room is something a lot of people miss also, when it's pivitol to getting the chaingun quick from some points. |

Video was sweet. Song gave it a cool vibe, and I really enjoyed the many hidden places there are in Doom3!
You seem to make the game even more exciting even when no one is around.
Good Job on this simple but fun movie. :D

Definately not "the best D3 vid by far" and not very good at all, mostly basic stuff, but some cool tricks and spots most people don't know about (pipes, etc.).

i dont really understand what the big deal is about this.
most of the things were just stupid. you take like a full 30 seconds to jump to something that u could just walk to another way. and i dont think it counts as a like secret or special thing if there were shards placed there on purpose. and half of the time it was just you circle jumping to one spot. maybe it's just because i have't played it and dont know how hard these things are or something but strickly from a viewing standpoint it seemed very dull and pointless.
mainly i think that d3 has a long way to go if it hopes to have impressive tricks. if you compare this to any q3 trickjumping movie it just seems like doom3 is slow. half the time i fealt like the movie was in slow motion too.
sorry for all the negativity. i just dont understand it all yet. |

Since I seem to be the only one that cannot play this movie I just reply to something else: You know what I find weird? That you (defenestrator) can be a regular user (instead of new user) with only have 1(!) post. ;)
