not a bad video. kinda in 3 parts. 1st part had a somewhat dramatic feeling. then some action and the last part had some nice runs. clean editing.. some effects not needed.

The intro was very good, altough it varied sometimes.
Some parts were good and other parts off the intro was a bit.. you know off.
The frags was nothing special, it was nice but nothing more. I recognize my self in these frags. Not top frags and not frags you do everyday so i must give the frags a 7.
When it comes to the music, and the effects i think that the music was good for a mood setter but not the whole freakin movie. I got ticks from listening to that music :P
And you should cut back just a little bit on the effects altough i liked the train part were everyone just stood still if ya know what i mean.

omg that intro :///////////// u cut and repeated that song like 5 times or somethin :sssssss and then at end u increased the speed of it :/ so they where singing like little girls :///// its a great song.. but u just rape the bitch soo hard :x
anyway after that intro thingy ... the film was ok pretty generic and too much variation in the look of the clips.. but i was still enjoyed by em nice try .. that intro :x:XX:

lol, there was no frags in this movie really AMAZING, im in the clan btw. hehe, i didnt send in one .avi let alone demo to andy, so there is only one frag of me :o
maybe one reason the movie has no frags worthy of even watching is cuz andy got most of the frags of just spectating people, and they were collecting from about a week or two of scrims.
lol....
good editing, andy you really have movie making skills, but i give the frags a 5/10.... :( |

Not a bad movie at all, i really can't say there are TOO mnay effects in a movie (because the Badge v2 and v3 both had a crapload of effects and they are my two fav movies) there are just effects that didn't have to be there or weren't used creatively.
Take for example the lens flare in the map scrolling sequence in the beginning, it's been used before and servers no purpose other than eye candy, if it was used top simulate the suns flares it wouldn't have been going over a wall :P
As for the map scrolling, its been do so many times before and most of the cs players know what the maps looks like.
Maybe if you added something original to the map scroll (e.g. the four kings cpl trailer with the text overlay was a neat idea) then it would have been more interesting.
The red over red intro didn't look too good either (to me at least)
Then we have the ever so famous vegas tv look, interlacing and scan phasing. The interlacing alone makes things hard to see and it really serves no real purpose other than eye candy.
The way you changed the look of all the scenes was a pretty nice touch i think so nothing looked the same.
Now the thing i've been seing alot lately with the cs vids (acumen being the first or second i think) is the multiple screne overlays.
It looks nice but its being used wayyy too much.
The scene that started around 2:30 wwith the multiple sceens was pretty cool, except that all that radical blur and lightrays perhaps distorted the scene a bit too much.
Don't make it so people can't see what is actually happenign or what you are trying to show.
i really liked the second song (cool beat)
The rest of the movie looked pretty much the same, amped up ambience made it look nice so did the motion blur.
Pretty nice vid though, i liked it.
I don't like to use numbers to rate the vids cuz words say alot more. =D

wow , i can't believe this user voted me 2 points , that gets my rating down alot , its suppose to be 9 no its only 7.5 , im really serious about my ratings , and if some of you just don't give a damn and give rating like 1 or 2 , that's really messed up . i rather you tell me your honest opinion and rating me a lo score that's okay , but please don't mess around and putting 1 or 2 .

How can you be serious about the opinions of 15 random people you've never met?
Same as above - couldn't see anything on a lot of the scenes, which was a major no-no, and the scanlines were so boring and overused.
Nothing special, but not bad. A 6 in my book.

really good video!!
effects are great imho, little bit more work at the single clips
and adding ingame sound would lift this movie to 9 pts. :>

ok , i found out people dig for sync and things special , that's how the own-age q3 movie got such a high score , because iyt has good sync and unique
i ll think up something completely different for the upcoming movie for my 2 friends
