ok, it was a nice video. very chill and all.
PROS:
+the few tricks there were nice
+pretty nice use of trapcode plugins
+close attention to sync payed
+quality was pretty good
+nice use of chroma keying in certain areas
+dof cam/sequence was nice
+the changing map thing was actually something i was considering doing for another video :x, you pulled it off pretty nicely
MUSIC:
+/i overused first song imo. i believe its been in 2-3 other videos. next song was ok but i felt like i was buying clothes.
CONS:
-overused effects. tbh there was too much "eye candy" not enough actual content.
-one air rox on osp dm11 looks sooooo setup.. theres tons of rocket stuff on the floor which leads me to believe someone was rjing around [which would be stupid on that map, its so small]
-didnt like the few frags thrown in, i dont really see a corelation w/ tricking and fragging imo, i dont like to see them together in vids.
-while some of the effects were nice, some clashed. intro was nice, but the colors didnt go well at all. in art school, one of the first thing they teach us is colors and theme, like cool, primary and warm colors, etc. its usually best to stay wthin the boundaries of that [imo].
-showtris was absolutely abused :\
-video was way to short, and all tricks were in slowmo. u guys post some nice stuff on opc, i think vid could have been longer :x
-no credits :|
all in all, it was a pretty ok vid i guess. had some highs and some lows, but deffinently shows promise.

But i havent heard the 1st song before, so i obviously havent downloaded those othe 2 vids, i love the chilled stuff and the start was great.. but kept the slow mo going on for far too long.. possibly cos there wasnt alot of content and you wanted to make it last longer.

Watching it now, the beginning intro with the characters scrolling sideways looks like it took some skill to create but it didnt really impress me, however when that scene was finished and it zoomed into Crash that looked totally awesome, how on earth do movie creators get the quality so high, do you use the adobe software to enhance the qualty or something? Because it looks better then actually playing Quake on Max settings. *Edit* actually watching it again I see blur effects used for the background which gives it such an amazing look, sweet! I would go as far as to say that is the best looking intro for a Quake movie that I have ever seen, looked like something you would see on one of the older Final Fantasy games. I really need to learn how to do that. The effects are very nice but the 3 minutes of slow motion was a bit too long, but not really his fault since the song takes that long to get started.
Also I know all of the pros use sound effects in their movies, but I dont like it because when I first began watching this movie I had it in full screen with the volume high and totally getting into it and then....
BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMM Loud freakin rocket blast sound effect which forced me to lower the volume. It also gets annoying to hear all of the grunting and damage sound effects. I know all of the people who use the sound effects in movies may disagree with me, but I just think it's annoying especially when it overshadows awesome music playing in the background. However the doppler effects in slow motion sound good.
The movie is pretty cool and the effects were nice :) The tricks were very impressive and comparable to some of the previous popular own-age movies that received high reviews. Nice touch including the project pics, I just dont have the time (or patience?) to learn a new complex program heh. I give it an 8/10, you guys own :D

| All I can say is the efc frag is no setup, it's from a semi final CB cup match ;) The movie is not a long trick/frag movie since bunny focussed on trying new things (or at least new to him) and also he just didn't have more discspace :< I think a different movie is in the pipeline though. I still think the overall result is quite good. gj b :) |

Was waiting for the video to pick up the pace but it never did, dont really like the slow-mo videos.
The vid had a lot of cool effects, if u like that sorta thing ;o

Some very nice effects and editting skills. But slow motion movies is really not my style, too slow, and then boring (especially when the same stuff is shown 2-3 times in slow mo, with huge dead times before and after action). Maybe too many effects, so yeah looks like more a teaser than a real movie, but really too long for a teaser. Content is good but not that great, very common nowadays...

well, the timescale is a bit hard i know, but in this time i was just in that mood so tryed to use it.
thx for the most of the comments, i had to reduce the lengh of the film coz i made that movie on my laptop which dont allows so much uncompressed avis, and all this pink screen stuff used so much space...
well i just triced to do some special effects and bling-bling-stuff , its sometimes oversued but i dont really care ;)
