Cool short vid.
Prolly the best quality and the most consistant/smooth framerate D3 movie to date.
The strafes look pretty easy but thats just me, since i dont strafejump. :P

The strafes look pretty easy but thats just me, since i dont strafejump. :P
Might be just cause doom3's strafing is much slower in acceleration than q3's |

What is with the stupid names of Quake 3 movies. To name but a few - Virtuosity, Premonition, Dedicated, Disfigurement, Annihilation, Tribulation, Entropy and the best: Ironiation?
Do any of these words actually mean anything?
And what on Earth do they have to do with fragging?
And what's with the apparently unstoppable trend of using thesaurus.com to find cool long nouns that mean basically nothing and use them as your name?

Dedicated is showing how ppl are dedicated to q3, or how i took it. Annihilation is obviously annihilating opponents...Disfigurement same thing as annih basically, disfiguring opponents..they all make sense to me.
edit: btw d3frag is the name of the map, so how is it so [lame?] |

defrag is a q3 mod used mainly for trickjumping. d3 = doom three. d3+defrag = d3defrag.. works better as d3frag eh?
that reminds me.. who gives a fuck? every video should be called "some people fragging some other people"? or howabout "some guys rocketjumping off some stuff"? look at clan names. how many of them actually make sense? gimme a fucking break. its nice to see people whine for no reason. and by nice i mean lame. thanks.

Not so great...dono how far tweaking configs / camera angles goes... but seeing the hud, and only seeing first person is kinda bleh.
they could be decent tricks for doom3... but like fei said... unimpressive after watching top notch q3 trick vids.... sucks that its compared to those.. but its hard not to.

If you dont know what a word means I suggest you check it up in a dictionary. In case you didn't know a dictionary means - "a book that contains a list of words in alphabetical order with their meanings explained or written in another language"

One word titles just seem so raped to me. So yeah, I decided to whine about it yesterday, because I just think it looks like a dictionary attack approach to naming your video.

I understand them, but I don't see the need for them. They're about as descriptive as calling your movie "Bob". Great, wow, that helps.
Sure, most of them refer to destruction or havoc of some kind - but the constant competition to find new, longer and even more pointless names is what annoys me. I can take a few, sure, it's just natural that some people prefer to use one-word names. But why does EVERY (high-profile) movie produced in Quake 3 have to have one?

| OK, finally I fiddled out how to download the video. But... for this piece of crap I accepted a fucking bunch of retarded cookies? I can't believe it, yO. The movie was a bit lame. My arse, even my mom can better jump than this guy! Music is quite inappropriate and too pathetic, for my taste at least. At least he used xvid codec and not some lame Microsoft wmv shit or other proprietary video codec crap. Gonna play now some de_dust, bros! And you should do the same. Ditch the dirt doom 3, it's not worth it and just a tech demo, nothing more. Can't wait for hl2, *drool*. Thanks for reading my fresh fragrant vernal shit. YOOO!! I'm strafing to bed right now. |

I can't understand anyone knocking this. This is some brilliant work, the video has the website listed to check out the map and that is a good thing. if u love doom 3 and want to improve then u will want to try this. I got the stairs pretty quick but cant even do the begginer strafes. I hope the author continues the work.
