Well for the editing part i didn't really see any original ideas (the whole target/ tracing thing didn't really look good, and it could have been used a bit better)
quality is not that great, but better than most ut2004/ut2004 vids.
I didn't think the music fit at all, the "soft" techno beat or the other tracks just didnt sound good (its my opionion though, others may think otherwise)
The "hand-made" moving camera sequences didnt look good either, movement was a bit jerky (esp in that ode to duel) keeping the camera still looks alot better
FRAGS ARE GOOD! My fav part of the video, cuz the frags were really nice, not well presented but nice.
I liked how u got the weapon model to show for some parts too
Last of al, you should prolly have used the dumpframes command as opposed to fraps, it looks alot better belive me. Ive made a ut2004 video using it and looks much smoother and better overall.

I like this movie, one of the best UT2004 frag vids out yet. The frags were good, the quality was good for UT2004, and the editing wasn't bad. I didn't really like the last song in the frags section, but other than that the music was ok. Some of the transitions were kinda annoying, also the effect you used during the bio frags could have been left out. Overall this movie is good and I would recommend it.

Hi all! Comments you've posted are really professional and very interesting for me, I hope to read a lot of this kind of hints. An example: now I know what "dumpframes" is, so I will certainly use it in my next UT2004 video! For music I chose something various and (quite) original, but I think that is impossible to find a song that everybody likes (maybe "Imagine" of John Lennon, but it probably doesn't work with UT2004...)
Finally, I'm proud that until now people like my frags!!! :o)

the frags were decent.. that whole duel section could have been cut out.. and as said before, some of the effects were kinda cheesy and cliched.
overall good movies.. the frags during the da rude song (which wasnt really original :x) were pretty sweet though. gj

A decent movie. One I'd recommend to UT200X players, but not to movie fanatics.
Good:
-Nice camerawork
-Music to scene syncing
Bad:
-Quality
-Transitions
-Cheesy effects (Lockon, infrared, etc)
Inbetween:
-Music (Darude is overdone, 'Easy' was just annoying... but the rest was really good.)
-Frags (Good, but nothing mindblowing)
-The duel section was kinda eh. If it had more of a climactic finish, it would have been much better.

well idk that its so much overdone in frag videos.. its just that its a pretty old, well-known techno song.. i just like hearing new songs in frag videos, thats all ^_^

Probably the best UT2004 movie ive seen.
Great job, the set up "duel" was a little goofy, but it sorta worked.
Music could have been better but.... overall well edited and synced.

LOL! I didn't made nothing for that fairytale sound, the song is just like that! Hey man, fairytale is really a nice word... :P
PS.: For all the people that liked my video (and especially for who didn't like it), I'm working on "Higlander 2" (or something like that). I'm now using dumpframes: wtf quality but for 20" of avi-files I need about 900 MB... I have to change my hard disk soon... Maybe I will post a trailer if you're interested on it, say me something. :)

WOW thats sounds nice to me :D a highlander 2, i mean i dl it now.. so i havnt seen it yet, but if it is like they say that its the best UT2k4 out yet, then a better one would be SO great... also bc not so many make UT2k4 movie's :( but i think ur work is great :D hf
