it's 50fps avi
therefore the filesize is 67% larger than the normal 30-fps qw-movie with same image quality It's 1st-pass xvid codec set at quantisizer 2. At the current filesize and fps settings, there are few codecs (to my knowledge) that would do MUCH better.
However im always intrested in learning more, so if you know a way improve things, message me on irc #a2k.qw (qnet).
Later I made high/medium/low qual version of the movie 150/100/50mb using 2-pass for the specific filesize. I even botherd to compress the sound another 4mb in those files.
My point is, for the imagequality and smoothness you get in this movie, the file aint that large really :)
