I didn't like the music and the quality was kinda bad (which is acceptable for UT2004), but the frags were ok and it was overall a nice watch.

No longer acceptable anymore imo. With dumpframes @ 60fps it should come close to quake3 quality footage now. |

I thought the pennywise song was rocking! You said in readme that movie 'could' be too dark. Well it is. Quality is not to great :D. Frags were kinda enjoyable. Movie was short and editing was not to great, synching was ok. Nice try for first movie, next time put more time in it I'm sure it will be a lot more entertaining.

Thx all for your comment :)
I'm aware of the "editing", I didn't spend time to that at all (most time went to synchronising) because I'm still learning that, I'll try to put some more effects in my next movie (thx for the tip)
About the quality, I used fraps @ 640x480 and highest settings in UT, I could have increased quality but then the file would have been too big, so how you guys get a better quality? any tips and suggestions are welcome.
Still trying to figure out what made this movie so dark. I said 'could' because ALL the movies I play with my windows media player are too dark. I thought that others might not have that problem, but now it seems that it's the movie and not the media player... (tips welcome :))
Thx again for your time, I'll keep your comments in mind the next time

hiho
nice vid btw ;) nice tune
i just posted my first vid today also. i learned something that will be helpful to you. i noticed we use the same software (apart from game) so it should be useful.
you see the scanline type things on you video? (hence it being referred to as bad quality), you need to turn off resampling, more info here > http://www.own-age.com/forum/thread.aspx?id=5032
here is the thread with my querey about it > http://www.own-age.com/forum/thread.aspx?id=26040&page=1 (excuse the fact that i got mixed up between resampling and interleaving).
have fun making more movies :D
also the vid doesn't really seem that dark over here :/
