Description:
This is a video of our Ghost Recon clan, =Rage=. Ghost Recon is a first person shooter that drives for realism and is unknown for the bigger audience. This movie shows why we enjoyed playing it for several years and sometimes still do.

It shows some nice frags and multiple kill rounds from our Clan Base matches, not to forget funny stuff like swimming or polka dancing.

Some of the things might open up just for old GR players, since they are supposed to be "impossible" to do in GR. Making a GR movie isn't that easy, compared to other gaming videos since the action in GR isn't always that fast. But in this movie you can expect the action to be fast with loads of explosions. In other words, if you are unknown to GR or want a nice overview of what GR is, well then start downloading already!

you're unlikely to get really good reviews here unless its a Quake3 video... most will find it boring :(

the content of the vid is good and skill of the skill of the players is great for those who understand this game.

for non GR players :
# no jumping
# cannot shoot while running
# no spawns (so getting 4 or 5 kills+ in one round is good)
# one shot one kill

quality is not great > wmv :/ but the filesize is ok on compromise.

its pretty hard to be creative with GR vids, you will be marked down with this because other games have cleaver camera angles, and you can fly around, but GR sux and you get silly static cameras.

anyhoo, gj and hope to see more GR vids on this site :D
hopefully GR2 will provide better opportunities :)

Hehe thx for ur comments guys. Making a movie of GR is kind a hard as it reads in the description. Most players will find it boring to watch those kills and i think i may understand them after they have watched such movies as Annihilination etc :), but hey atleast u non GR players had a small picture of what GR is :)

After i quit GR and played such games like RvS, CoD, CSS, Q3A, ET... GR is so slow compared to these games. I would have made a better movie yeah, but i am still a n00b and Vegas 4,0 isnt the best program for effects i think when compared to Adobe Premiere.

When i first rendered the quality was 90% -> 393 mb, i made another version of it (repaired some typos ;P). I lowered the quality to 86% -> 274mb.

Thx Panic mate, we will meet in GR2 ;)

Oooh i forgot to ask few things:

what do u think about the sound quality? I think i should have not compressed it alot

Is the gamma of the movie too dark? So far 3 guys have said its lil bit too dark.

Does the music fit in the movie? I tryed to make it as that the music would follow the video or video would follow the music, so it would kind a sound hmmm smooth or something like that :)
