pretty great vid, the flow of it all is totally different from most other vids, music used was used well... Some nice effects, and sweet text effects @ intro/outro..
Content wasn't all that great, quality was nothing special, creativity & editing were very above average

hum intro kinda much copied from virtuosity and some overused glow ruins a bit the movie. Otherwise it's not that bad, content wasn't tiptop but it's not really a problem, music was quite relaxing.

Note: This post is in no way intended to be a flame or anything like that, it's my personal opinion. I'm sorry if you find any of it offensive, since that's not my intention at all.
Yeah, the intro was way too much inspired by Virtuosity. As for the rest, it just didn't hit my satisfaction trigger. Here's a few why's:
-Too much slowmotion/Music was too slow.
-I'm not too fan of freecams, and this one didn't contain much 1st person.
-The synching was more or less achieved by slowing or speeding the wheel of time, and for me, that doesn't impress me as much as 'normal' synching does. Take a look at the "4-hit-railgun-section" in "The Right Back Alley" to understand what I mean, that was a great example of effective synching.
-Content quality was very varied. Most frags were below average, and a few were quite good.
-\r_showtris 1 is outdated. Altough you blended it in nicely, it's just too overused for me.
Please don't take this post the wrong way, it's all IMO anyway, and I'm sure there are plenty out there that finds this movie interesting. :)

A nice vid, nothing great. First vid from The Nub Crew I've seen, impressive but it has plenty of flaws.
The big overuse of the glow filter early really started to become weary on my eyes, also the trapcode filters got old. Content wasn't great at all, average frags for the most part. The editing was godly, man what a great job at syncing and putting everything together, I loved most of the cams, only 1 or 2 were bad, but why did you capture at r_picmip 1? And there were some jaged edges on some of the clips.
Overall, it was impressive, but really doesn't surpass anything that's already out there. 7.25/10

download tonite (at school atm :P) been looking forward to this bad-boy for awhile! trailer was awsome, hope it is as good...
EDIT** THAT WAS AWSOME!! added to favs. best edited quakeIII vid i have seen by far. the intro was great. slow-mo was not overused in this movie at all as it was in keeping with the awsome chilled out d&b sound track (which i am trying to dl rite now). frags were well presented altho not very impressive but the recamms i thought were very good and made the frags look better.
the only problems i had with this was accenting almost every beat got a bit too overwhelming (and i didnt like the blur accents either) and sometimes the recams would be too late to see the person getting hit.
other than that an excellent movie. wd sinex

some nice editing and camerawork, but a bit too much at times (ie too much "glow" and what other people mentioned). I agree that although slowmotion is nice occassionally to make a point, or if the frags are really great, all slow motion with many average frags just makes things boring. also the intro was a bit odd where it seems like the camera is focusing of hunters crotch for an extended period of time, i dunno if that was intentional or not, but it seemed silly. some good frags mixed in with many average frags. like the video, the music is slow, possibly too slow to fill an entire movie of this length with.

Well, thank you for your thoughts. Before I started creating this movie I knew that soundtrack will be discused in various ways. There are people who likes it and there are people who don't. And I gues it's everyones oppinion.
The glow was used to create a new, non-seen atmosphere. Well I think I made this movie the way it is and I'm proud of it.

Nice. Above average but over edited, over recamed, music definitely to slow and to boring for frag movie (after 5 minutes i've checked how long is this movie).
P.S. It's only MY personal opinion. ;>

well I must completely agree with stolarz and cheney
using slowmotion all the time isn't a good thing, it easily makes movie boring (especially when it comes to q3 fragmovie)
nice camerawork and some decent shots combined with average ones, ok quality and good synchro but it's still way too slow (also colors were pretty dim and not as vivid as they should be - watch Tricking iT 2 - you'll know what I mean)

I loved the music vs sync! Also the color correction is very good and it isn't some part effect, stays the whole movie creating a good ambience in it.. just.. the shake effect is good in the intro but in the whole movie is a bit forced in my opinion, should have been restricted to lights glow etc etc, not that strong shake..
Very good, great improvement from anitonomy, keep them coming ;)

hmmm... where's the originality?
intro like... VirtuositY :G in the middle part we can see how the rockets fly... just boring
music is too slow for a fragmovie. use slow tracks only in a part of the vid (like intro/outro), not in the whole
frags... :\ cant see it becuz the big flying rocket in the middle of screen
but the credits aren't bad :]

so overall it's a 7, good movie, but not a keeper. try make a faster movie, with YOUR creativity (not with Liquide's). trailer was better

Good movie imo, nice atmosphere and sweet visuals althought i did not enjoy the intro as the rest of the vid for the same reasons ppl mentionned below. Recams were nice overall but some were confusing, even if i know the maps and all it was sometimes a bit hard to follow what was going on. Also i think the glow was a bit strong especially on the explosions when i compare the final vid with the trailer... and the colors looked a bit as the default ones in afx. About the content, not bad and some frags were very well presented with different angles/speeds (like the very first one for example).. that is mainly what i liked tbh, you did a great job on that. The music/sync was not bad at all either and i liked the first part a bunch (btw dunno why but it gave me some kind of feeling of nostalgy or something like that.. like "let's remember our good times on q3" damn it i guess i'm definitely too receptive these days lol :D) maybe a bit too slow for a fragmovie yea but i guess it fits with your original ideas and the atmosphere you wanted to give to your movie.. although i would not have been against a more speedy track for the last part. Okay so overall i think i'll keep this one for your camerawork and to salute your improvements from your last vid :) Keep it up dude.

Interference is an unique movie and not everyone likes it, I know that. It's just, my style is... interesting and not for everyone. I hope you will understand that :)

well i think the calmness of the movie was very original, and different from the fast paced metal of normal vids. frags were average but the recams made them look nice. I love the style of intro used, and i hope to do something similar in one of my vids... who cares if it looks similar to virtuosity? doesnt it look cool?
