Description:
This video features frags from the mods Threewave and RA3. I had originally planned to use more RA3 frags, but unfortunately many of the demos had become corrupt, and so most are from Threewave.
All frags in this video were performed with a ping of around 300-400 - this high ping is due to the combination of a dialup connection and the distance to the servers. Note that this is very different from fake/laggy pings caused by downloading/uploading while playing.
The aim of this video was to create an enjoyable, fun presentation - something which is more difficult when the content is nothing special. To achieve this, I put more effort into syncing the content to the music, and favored short sequences with one or two good frags, rather than long, drawn-out sequences with many easy frags.
The content is structured into three main sections - each with different styles of frags, each presented in an appropriate way. The soundtrack includes a range of sounds to match these styles.
The video has been compressed to less than 20MB/min while maintaining a good level of quality, which I know many will appreciate.
Due to the nature of the demos, it wasn't possible to do any sort of demo camming, and so I was quite limited in what I could do with the content. However I hope you enjoy it nonetheless.
