I tried downloading it twice and unfortunately I received a "File is corrupt" error message when trying to extract out of WinRar. Can you check that the file you uploaded on your server is complete? Thanks!
Edit: Thanks Spoon, downloading the newer version of WinRAR fixed my problem.
About the movie:
I thought you had a good introduction that looked clean and professional. I liked the opening song as well, but I thought you needed a little smoother transition from the non-gameplay to the gameplay, instead of going right into it. But that is a minor detail. I wish the second song was different because it was such a contrast from the first one (lyrics to no lyrics) that it seemed out of place. Regardless, the second song offered up some good opportunities for syncing, so I think it was a pretty good choice.
I thought that your use of effects was good, but at times too excessive. For example, at 2:35 you switch between normal brightness and low brightness over and over, and I thought that it detracted from the content too much. Similarly, I thought that the jig-saw puzzle effect looked a little out of place at times. On the other hand, I thought that you had some very, *very* nice sync, especially at 2:15 which I thought was perfect. Also, your use of blur and zoom effects definitely helped make the movie more interesting.
The content in the movie, which I personally think makes or breaks a Quake movie, seemed above average, but not crazy. And that is OK, because the game has not even been out for six months and it has a terrible recording system (kudos for using Fraps while playing, by the way). I wish you would have stayed consistant with the weapon display though; I think it should either be on the entire movie or off. Some frags that I particularly liked were the gauntlet/lightning killing spree, and what looked like a double-double rail (meaning hitting 4 players with 2 shots) at 5:15. A sequence like that is definitely rare and you edited it well to make it look great. You could have kept some of the luck frags out of the movie (such as the rocket shots down the hallway or the telefrag), and I'm sure that some will think that they weren't that great. But I thought they were fun to watch, even if they were just luck.
Perhaps one of the strongest points of the movie was the way it looked, which was very, very good. I also like how all the effects were shown in the game and how the graphics seemed to be on maximum. Also, in game sound is always a plus for me. Good size for the quality, too.
Overall I think this is a very fun, exciting, and well edited movie. Considering how long the game has been out and that the frags came from only one person, I think this is the best frag highlight Quake 4 video yet on this site. Great job Power! 8.5/10.

I had that a while ago. I googled for a newer version of winrar. After installing that newer version, it extracted without a problem. The movie is probably rar'ed with a newer version which isn't supported by the older one.

content : 85% (compared to what i have seen of q4 by now since my engine cannot run. Can always be improved)
editing: 91% (great intro and credits, starts with many "effects" that get less later. First maybe even overdone, later not "enough". But all in all really good)
music: 80% (I am listening to Hardrock and Metal all the time and do not like the sound that much, but it has not been in every second movie and fits the content... so might even give a higher rate, but like I said - not my kind of music)
size/quality/length: 83% (great quality, length just fitting so you can watch the whole movie without getting bored or sayin "that`s to short, where is the rest of it? o_O". But Filesize could be a little smaller)
summery: 84,75%
I liked your movie a lot and it has been the best q4 movie i have seen so far (did not watch as many as I did of q3, of course). Even if I don't really like the game itself compared to previous titles this one made me want to try it for some hours of LAN fun. It is a shame i am not able to :)
Advise: download it!!! ;-)

Agh. I'm trying to view it, but Winrar won't let me extract it properly. I have version 3.51.
I'm kinda excited to see this, and all other Quake 4 vids, good or bad.

The quality looked low, but the frags were awesome. I didn't like the music too much. Especially the track that was made in Garage Band. But overall, this was pretty good to see.

Interesting.. good use of some effects, also good qual & colors. The first track was surprising cause all i would have said in normal time is something like "wtf is that" but i dunno it seemed to fit the visuals after all so it's okay. I can't really judge the frags cause i've played q4 like.. 20 mn or so :> but they looked good. The things i didn't like are the white borders during the first part (it doesn't look good but i think it's more of a matter of taste) and also a few transitions which seemed to be some kind of cheap or inappropriate. But overall i thought it was a good q4 movie and maybe one of the best i've seen so far, gj.

Everytime I write this useless crap, I do think what it is I should have said within it.
But everytime somebody posts a video like that this person should think about it's content at least - the least significant thing for audience.

If it's to give 1/1/1/1 then don't rate it.. say you don't like it but just don't rate it unless you're 12. Like it's gonna help the person who made it and give him the will to make another movie.. i'm sure you didn't think of this even a single second, did you. Anyway i'm not arguing with you anymore, if you think it deserves the lowest score in all areas then fine now i just hope you publish a vid someday so i can see if your overestimated opinion about yourself is justified.
