Quite a good Movie. Content was pretty good and i liked the Cams in the intro. And i liked that you used roll for them.
At the bottom line it was a good but also kinda average UT04 movie cause it didnt had that much effects.
But what i really didnt liked was the black screen transitions. I dont know if its just me but they really ruined a lot of the first part for my. What was your point of doing them ? For me they were really annoying. They looked bad and steal a lot of the flow out of the movie. To switch from a scene to instant black is annoying for the eye, especially when you do it so often. And then nearly 1 second or more only black really didnt feel great for me and ruined the pace. In the second part it was a bit better cause it seemed although this black transitions were still there i think they werent as long as in the first half. I point this out that much cause i really think you should never do that again. For transitions i suggest a short and simple smooth transition from one clip to the next or even no transition.
Another thing is a common mistake these days: the movie is too dark in my opinion. Compression usually makes the picture a bit darker then it is in your video editing programm. So you need to make it really bright in your editing programm and even if it seems to look horrible then it will look fine after compression. Watching a dark vid is always a little painfull since its really hard to see whats going on.
So for your next project i suggest to use other transitions and a brighter image. The rest is soid! So especially if this is your first proect you did a good job. If you want to make a next vid and if you improve the things i mentioned and put some additional variity and effects in i think you can get far..

i agree wtih rypel there, the black transitions were getting annoying after a while but it still is a good film for me, content was good, liked the swiftcam/rypelcam lol, also i liked the music to it, the synchin was good aswell
its a keeper for me :)
plus im the the vid lol also it only took me 50 mins to download on filefront which was good

Where can i get one of those mirrors? FF has been workin very well for most people, so you might try it to see how fast it goes.
Thx for the advice, Its just my first so next time I will definitally try to do that. |

to tell you the truth, i liked it! pretty good job for your first attempt. Quality:Size ratio could have been much better, especially with the x264, i agree about the transitions and blank stretches that was mentioned above, but the intro wasnt bad (although map flyby isnt very original), and some good frags throughout. Another thing, could have been shorter, as i learned after making my own movie, people would rather have a shorter movie than see repetitive frags. Also, music was pretty good, and some nice sync with the action.

i watched it and it was really good guys nice frags,songs were ok i liked the intro...then i saw it...yes i saw it...ME DIEING! funny thing is i actually remember that happening i also remember saying "wow ns man" :P
