Hmmm, in fact screenshots are modified a bit but there is no probs for me since I enjoyed watching the movie.
I'm a bit tired so I'll make a comment using pseudologue technique :
++ outro
+ great use of after effects and particle illusion (or maybe it was particles made with afx, I didn't have time to read it in the outro ^^)
+ synchro and musics, and I count the extra weapon sounds like gun etc, it was a good idea
+ creativity, I'll call this frenchtouch :)
+/- content (1st person views are nice, but I got bored in the second part of the movie, full of recammings).
- The part with player model pictures in the middle of the movie...it broke the flow
I'll just add that in french, "joueurs" means "players", the rest of french words are easy to understand I think.
Just sit down, relax and enjoy this short but good movie

great stuff, frags were nice, liked the effects done on rockets/nades
editing was superb

EDIT: Just downloaded VLC. Now it works ok. Watching :>

Downloaded it. It doesn't work with vlc(versoin 0.8.4-win32). The movie stops right after some seconds. The sound continues...
Any ideas?

Hey good move althought i'm not sure rap music really fits q3 if you know what i mean :| that is to say i didn't like this aspect that much tbh (gj on the sync though) but the 2nd part was just great and i really had a nice feeling watching it.

WOW murah!! I must say this one really gets me!!! Since a long time a movie which really catched me in my chair! I was like :'( at the end. This has really style! you use those ae filters pretty well an decent. Synch was nice too, and i love the config! Only thing i must criticise is that you use the solitscreen to often i didnt liked it alot. And some frags better be shown in 1st person view. But anyway defiantly a keeper for me! 9 ot of 10!!! Good job.

Really, REALLY nice outro and effects, quality & colors also are trully nice. Nice edited overall with synch. Frags are nice also :]
LOVED THE PIMMEL REWARD changed with ur "finger style" :D
Also fonts are nice, but, what i didn t really liked, is that i had to watch it 4 times to well judge:
-1st: quality, edit, frags
-2nd: looked Dual screens frags
-3rd: looked who fragged
-4th: overall enjoyed :>
I liked it the way it is but it is not as clear as normal font, frags msg, etc even if it is nicer.
Then even if i dont dislike the 1st song, have to say it doesn t fit so well the contents.
overall: nice movie 8/10 for me

That is good entertainment.
The graphics is the first things I have noticed which improved a lot since the last movie that I remember called Fight 4 The Flag, right?
The skins did not annoy, these tripple rockets were nice and good looking with the after effects support. I found the first piece of music very boring, only a beat, it did not make the content look like action for me.
The colors were good, so was the quality. The editing was good and the camera moves too :)
The credits were wonderful. The music there is relaxing and the credits are well synced to it. I like the credits more than the fragging part before. Moby is a good choice.
I hope to be able to take a look at the skins as well. And the funniest thing in the movie was when one of the victims just killed by a rocket showed up the chat bubble and a "rofl" showed up, good thing :D

finally, a good q3 vid. its been a while.
Pros.
Nice editing. The credits where really nice with the sync and those sparks :D. What program did you use to make these, out of curiosity? The effects where appropriate and well used. They complimented the vid, and didn't steal the viewers attention from the content, while still looking good. The rail trail effect was nice, can you give me a link for a place i can get this? The frags i was 50/50 on, some where nice some were average. The dm17 rocket into the void was insane :D.
Cons.
I wasnt really a fan of the first song. As Auri said, it was just a beat. it didnt really get me feeling much. The second song was better, espescially towards the end. As i said above i thought some of the frags were average and shouldnt have been included.
overall - GOOD VID

cool movie.
very nice editing and content is ok.
i found first track got a bit boring, same music beat for too long.
the movie kinda felt "claustrophobic". i think this is because the fov is so low compared to what i'm used to. tho i'm not sure cos i don't really get this feeling in other movies. |
