Can somebody tell me what's wrong with Filefront? I always start with max. 50kb/sec.. and after some minutes the speed falls down to 10kb/sec. Finally the download stops.. it's so annoying :/

Yeah but like half a year ago, it worked fine. Always had like ~200kb/sec :(

Do you know how Bittorrent works?
Bittorrent is good for wide distribution. The more people download the movie, the better the datarates are. For a movie like this (96 downloads atm), filefront is far faster. And after a few days nobody downloads the movie, so nobody shares it, and it is impossible for a new comer to download it. Filefront is not very fast, but for me it is ok: I launch the download, and some time later I have my file.
So filefront might not b eperfect, but it is the best free host I have seen so far that respects our conditions (no registration needed to download, file available forever...). If you know other sites that provide that, you are welcome to tell us!
Alcohol is the answer, but I can't remember the question!

I would talk about the movie.. but I am @ 50% of the download. Speed: 2,7kb/sec, 7,44 hours to go. That's why we talk about Filefront :P

Well no one's been able to get the movie yet to talk about it. I'm sitting at 4.5kbs, 8hr 50mins to go and the speed is STILL dropping. Sorry but im cancelling the download till a better mirror comes along, or filefront wakes up again.

Oh wow, this movie was actually quite enjoyable! Not a top movie which would or should get top ratings, but it's the best Q3 frag vid I've seen all year (pssst... it's only the 5th of March :P). Oddly enough there were awful things as well as great things, so here are my ratings from 0 to 10. :D
0: The slow download, but that was Filefront's fault, not yours...
1: The name of the movie....come on...
2: The originality of the music you used in the movie (Juno Reactor).
3: The quality.
4: The boring credits.
5: The music in the credits; the chorus was strange with the female vocals and the heavy guitars in the background. Nice but not great. :P
6: There were some frags where the ingame font was different (it actually looked quite cool)...what's up with that? Sort of made me feel they were stolen from another movie. :s
7: The recams and slow-motion effects, and that there were no flashy unwanted and unnecessary effects.
8: The consistency of nice frags, not great frags, but OK frags.
9: The typo's (!!) in the last word of the credits. :D
10: The gauntlet-kill @ dm17....that was golden! :D

After watching it again, also 9 points for the typo in the logo in the intro. :D
And I actually laughed out loud after seeing that gauntlet kill again. :D
And the frags with the different font...is that to show that those frags were made in CPMA? Cause that's the only thing I can really think off...

well average download rate was about 5kbs I think.. but. It's worth it.
you seems to be a good and fun (the "The gauntlet-kill @ dm17" :O ) player ! I like that, and I really enjoyed it.
It 's been a while since I watched a good quake3 vid from here (actually I'm only looking for q3 vids here...)

| good job, but mistake in titles and defrag shoot. maybe anything else. ehmm...quality is good but not excelent :). otherwise good job. Yeah... and parasuicide with gauntlet on dm17 is very crazy and good. I laughting at enemy. good job |

dont see what all the fuss is about, seemed like an average frag vid to me. quality was pretty bad and the frags were average, except for a few WOWERS. The dm17 pummel is the most amazing pummel ive ever seen :P. Also the last dm17 rocket where the guy missed the rail platform was sick nasty too. The music was alrite but ive heard it used before. The credits were kinda boring just scrolling text :E

Ah finally thx for the fast mirror. About the movie that was a nice watch, some real nice frags in there.. few looked not so cool though but all in all i really enjoyed watching this. Also i thought the cutting was cool and i liked those fast-slow motion effects that Rogue was talking about, just hope we're talking about the same thing :> Other than that just need to learn how to compress and try to use some more original tracks.
