heh, i was surpized i didnt see my self in there, sens you play on the same server i play on :) but i did see a good friend, enemy#1 aka (/tard*hard/) i gotta tell him that he was in a moive even thow its him getting killed haha, overall minky +2 on my side good frags/vid/q/music
so i will give this one a 8/10 :)

I was really deceived by that movie.
First probably ugliest intro ever seen (standing text with some basic effects applied to it).
Then content: a few good stuffs, the rest was made of not impressive airshots (even some close single airshots) and some short rail runs with missed ones. Many dead times too.
No effects/editing, except some fixed recams to reshow a frag (I personally don't loke when a frag is shown twice, because if it needs to be shown a second time, it means the first time it was not shown clearly and then that first time was useless).
Quality: not really nice, I was expecting much more co,sidering you used x264 and considering the filesize. No AA, no AF used to capture, no color correction...
Config: bad config, forced ennemies were half white half green, except for the recams, where they had a basic skin/color.
To sum up: you could save some bandwith by not downloading this one. That kind of movies was ok 2 years ago, but not anymore.

i won t comments on frags level, some already did, and even if there s no OMGLEETFRAGS still watchable, what i really really dislike are recams tbh and the fact that your showing twice same frags WITH BAD RECAMS ;x
And your gaming style/editing really doesn t fit with this music.

took me 3 hours downloading it....
There are only 2 or 3 nice frags...the intro was such a bullshit...sorry and the outro was more ugly...
The quality was good!
The config..well...cf_scores 9999999x999999 true?
Ugly enemymodels
but nice and clean graphic!

Some nice frags, the rest is bad imo ;)
And what kind of frags do you want bacchus? You can't expect frags like vincent's or karkoma's in every movie. Most of the airfrags were kinda good.. why do it all have to be "OMFG WTF SO IMPRESSIVE!!11" frags? People have a different playstyle. If you watch karkoma play for example, you see, that he's always going for the airfrags. He's playing to get these kind of frags ;)
People like minky seems to play to win.. so they don't have too many of these shots. I agree with you on some of the runs but the airfrags really were ok imho :)

yeah well, im an average player, not an omfg leet pro.
i made the video to show people what i see in game,
the only things i changed in my config were -HUD and -crosshair
all the picmip and fov and enemy colors i left, cuz its what i see when i play
the intro and outro were very bad i know lol i made them in paint in about 2 minutes :)
lol rampage i like the ---intro/outro :P i asked in a thread to have someone make me an
intro, but nobody was interested, so i made do with what i could :) like my previous movie,
i made it for myself and the people i play with, and well, i just love making movies :)

I don't expect frags like in Get Quaked 3, Bsex2, or Vincent Vega's movies in every movie I watch.
But there is a huge difference in content quality between that movie and the movies I quoted. As I wrote, the kind of frags displayed were ok for a movie released like 2 years ago, but compared to today's standards it is very low. Especially considering he plays ra3, and most of the nice airshots come from ra3 games.
Atm there are 42 movies in my q3 movie frags directory, and all have what I would call decent content, ie what I think is good enough to be featured in a movie, and I only kept the ones with a good editing too...

GQ3 and all the other movies aren't standard. They have the best frags from the best players... from _many_ players. It's hard to get enough frags, if you do a movie with footage from one person. The airfrags in this movie are imo far away from low. Sure, there are some not-so-good ones but most of them looked nice. I think the problem is, that it's not a fast paced movie.. maybe looks a bit boring/unspectacular because of this :>
And yes, many nice Airs comes from RA3 but the game is _not_ played like this.
People like vincent and karkoma are exceptions (seems like they only play to do frags for movies ;) ).
RA3 = Rail and Shaft. Rockets are mostly used to do rj's or spam, sad but true.

I agree. Do you see leet air rockets from lexer? no...but hes still easily one of the best players in quake 3, and everyone knows that. Considering minky's playing style, the frags were good, imo.
I ALWAYS go for air rockets and stuff, that's how i play. :D

Where did I write that? I wrote the exact opposite in my previous post.
That movie is imo a good example of what you can expect from a single person (ok 2 here, but the movie is a little longer). I know the players personally very well, and I can tell they don't go for airrockets, they go to kill the ennemy (and they play against good players too). And you can take into consideration airshots happen lesoften in cpma ca than in ra3, because players move faster and have less predictable movements in the air (even if the rocket goes a little faster).
When I watch movies made from airshots, I know that the frags featured are more luck than skill (if it was skill the player would rather have tried to rail the opponent instead of airshoting him).
Today people expect impressive frags, because there are already many many movies with average content.

Good that you took this movie as an example. Watch the movie and right after it, you watch minky's movie. The airfrags are similar and there were many easy airshots in raziel's movie ;)
The only difference: CPM fast paced style with nice editing/music vs. slow ra3 stuff with bad music and editing.

Believe me, good airshots are not everyday-frags in ra3 :)

I had seen your screenshot, and I maintain airrox happen less often in cpma than in ra3.
And about the content: there were only a few single airshots in raped souls, and I admit it was not the best part of it. There were many double one, or at least combo (shaft+rocket, rocket+rail...).
And the runs were much more interesting to watch.

it waited for something better to me but i don't doubt of your work in this movie..make movie is hard.
no impressives frags..all see sometimes in all servers,camp..,normal airs,and rails...no exceptions.

There were many single airshots (i count the combo frags as single shots too) and he also misses some shots. Many of them were not so hard to do :)
And as i said before: I agree with you on the runs ;)

meh, it is hard to make airs in ra3, but it is also hard to make airs in cpma. honestly tho, i wasnt to impressed with the content in raz's movie, i didnt find it much different from the frags in this one.

Standard frags. Maybe 2 or 3 frags nice rox. Spam pills for one holy it's ridiculous. frag with rail, it's not impressive. I have stop before the end of vidz.
i do it the same all time when i played on ra3, and i'm not a amazing players just good player :/
