lol.. gj rocketbear.. your first vid was good(oaned), which i have in my q3 movie folder ;) this one is just omg in your face action. air grenades, amazing rail shots, rocket shots, an insane amount of air rox, killing sprees everything.. clean editing and superb quality. my only complaint? I didn't like the music and I normally dont bitch too much about videos. The music kinda distracted me from the frags/kills. I'm just not a heavy metal fan anymore. This one will go right next to oaned...

great movie... i think its the ONLY other ra3 movie that can compare to lof.ra3.fnu. just no bullshit off the wall action.. crank up some slayer and and pull some amazing air rox/nades and rail runs.. really a sweet video..

| No i am talking frags. Time is about the same. Anniliation showed the same frags multiple times which got kinda repulsive. This movie same time run almost and frags are all different nothing is the same or repeated. Just full out going going going. Plus the editting is fine he did what needed to be done. Quality is the best there is. Anniliation why yes very good does not compare to this movie. IT doesn't Frags are not as nice and well played. I prefer this over any movie too date. |

I must agree that Anniliation is a 'better' movie or whatever than this. I also think that there are other great movies, lets not get hung up about what movie is 'the best'. For the most part lets not compare movies too much, or it will become an ignorant slagging match, say between those who prefer amd or intel, or radeon or nvidia.
Every movie has new frags in them and each is generally presented in a new way, and they all have a different feel. Just enjoy them all.

the frags were nice but im not much of a fan of RA3. imo, ra3 can die. :p but anywho, my opinion about this video is much different than what i read from other users, i disliked the music and the video was TOO much like the lof.ra3.rnu or wtfever that video is called. frag after frag just got repetitive to me and the music isnt my taste. very nice frags though. a major complaint i have about this video being submitted for the own-age.com contest is that i had to playback the opening credits sequence and pause the video in order to spot the own-age.com logo.... i see the reason for you shrinking it to the size of a pixel in order to fit so many logos, but the own-age.com logo should be plain and completely visible. albeit its not stated in the rules that the logo should be a certain size, but i was under the impression people would use enough sense to stick the picture in unaltered... guess i was wrong. the video did in fact show a lot of very nice frags but the intensity was lost when the clips became too repetitive with all the frag after frag no transition editing and the music which didnt flow all too well with the video. of course, this is just -MY- opinion and mine alone.

| Absolutely awesome.. Frags were fuckin brilliant, left me in awe. In my opinion the music fitted real well and was synched up nicely. Great to see a whole lot of aussie footage in there. Definetly a favourite. |

Frags are very nice: amazing, insane or whatever you want midairs, nice rail shots and other kind of frags... But a little like deffy said, it would have deserved a better editing work to highlight more the content, because it sometimes seems repetitive: getting bored with such a nice content is a shame \o/... It would have been much better if action had been synched to the soundtrack. For me this vid is a little between lof.ra3.fnu and Q3-Pie (which are 2 of my favourites Q3 frag vids), but it doesn't product the same effect on me, maybe because the originilaty is not here anymore... To sum up, with a better editing it would have been perfect, but here I think it wastes a little the vid, because this kind of content, even if it is amazing, is repetitive...
x.Deffy: where have you seen the own-age.com logo? I haven't seen it. If the video is submitted for the contest, maybe an admibn should move it into the Q frags highlights contest directory, because if I hadn't read your post personnally I wouldn't have known it took part to it.

But yes, the movie would have rocked if [EF]Warrior.One made a nice intro for it, his is the best q3 movie intro so far I think.

i think over-editing would have killed the essence of the video.. its a no bullshit, in your face, 100mph, non stop (for 13 minutes at least), slayer fueled frag movie. ill admit after about the 5th watch it gets a little repetitive, but its still deffinently a keeper. on another note, this isnt what ra3 looks like though.. insane shots like that do NOT happen that often (depending on how much u play i guess), but having demos from 22 people cant hurt :D. no complaints here. though i like the bullshit, no bullshit is nice sometimes.

RB: sorry you are right it is synched when it is possible, but there are big parts where you can't synch it (when a guy makes a solo with his guitare for example...). I was tired and at the end I didn't take care to parts where it was synched, I only paid attention to the parts not synched. The music didn't allow a complete synchronisation. I think with an other kind of music and with some slowmotion and/or thirdperson view, I would have paid more attention to the whole vid.
PS: I don't say it is a bad vid, the content is amazing and the vid is good (I liked the vid even if it is not so obvious in my commentaries), but it is too similar to other (good) RA3 vids and so I had the impression I already had seen it...

i liked it, frags got a little repititive but i guess it was ok at the start. i woulda liked to see frags from osp or smth cuz the ra3 frags got boring (i hate ra3 too) the music wasnt that great but it wasnt bad. good editing and a very solid vid overall. good job

air rox in ra3 don't mean the same thing to me... I was so bored and decensitized by the frags almost immediately... it was too long and the frags seemed so repetative. But I was surprised though... I didn't know people still played ra3... :P
