This vid would have been pretty nice if the footage wasn't so choppy. I know capturing smooth footage from Quake 4 isn't easy, but there are ways to do it. Check out this movie for example: Q4 - 1on1 Impressions.
Edit: If you don't want to download the movie, check out this clip I made. The movie is even better, though.

Guys, could you possibly post non-filefront mirrors? I don't know why, but the download rate always starts off at 100+ but slows down to 2kbs or something, and that's just unbearable.

Yeah, filefront is pretty slow lately. I'm using GetRight (downloading one file from multiple filefront servers), that helps a little...

| I must say I was happy to finnaly see a Quake 4 Frag movie even though it took forever to download, but it makes a lot of sense now why you made your own "you fragged playername" thing considering those weren't your own frags/demos. The one at 40seconds is a frag I made and now regret sending the demo to killaton if he is going to steal credit. I recognized a lot of the other frags (almost all of them where you edited the you fragged part) from other demos I have watched from GGL finals amongst other things. There is nothing wrong with using other peoples frags in the movie as long as you give them credit for it and not edit it to make it look like your own. Thats just messed up. |

- Frags - OK - Very nice i like it
- Music - The Saw theme isn't ok for a quake movie imho... :/ But in this this week this is second movie with this soundtrack :)
And one more... This frag on the "The longest Day" with teleports... i think this is fake my friend isn't it? :> |

Wow... I thought S3NS30FD34TH quit gaming and making movies a long time ago...!
Hanhcore was also in some of the movies he made years ago, nice to see they still play :)
S3NS3's movie is indeed of high quality, love it.

I have talked with mashlin and it was all a misunderstanding.
Damn seems like nobody has any nice things to say except for one person. Well i'm happy with just one compliment i guess. It is my first work with any type of video ever so i think it turned out better than i hoped considering i've never done anything like this before.
I also just watched the powerless movies. About 1/3 of the movie is on fragging yard.....and the rest just seemed to be filled with railgun and ctf. But i definetely like his effects and editing. It's very well done in that aspect.

| Well of course I took some part in making it so I like it, I'm also glad with it's quality. For a first movie or video work period this is pretty good, and he got much better as it went so I'd hope to see more. Quake IV already struggles because of the bashing and ego's that snuff out noobs welcome, lets not kill it further by bashing a guys first video too. |

Second, I might be biased since I'm in it, but it's very good IMO especially for a first. Not much editing\effects and a bit choppy but it makes for an enjoyable watch because the frags are good for Q4.
Last, I also agree about the powerLess movies...ffs he doesn't even turn on demo_enforcefs 1! That in particular took away from that movie IMO. Bad taste of music, and blocking out like half the hud only with a border, wtf? The editing is where it shines but that's the movies only good part IMO. Killa's movie > powerLess |

• i agree with nura5en about the frag on dm9(?) that its fake ;) but nice idea and well done for q4. how did you do the camera views? and wtf explode the rocket explode when hitting him and after it flying through? ^^
• as mashlin already said i think (at least) one frag was "stolen" - the frag on phrantic which is from the radioITG q4 trailer but correct me if i'm wrong
• another thing i dont like is the choice of music - not that i dont like it but its overused imo.
all in all i think its one of the better q4 movies out there because most of the frags are good and quality is also fine (yep making a vid in q4 is shit i got the same experience :)
-> thumps up especially because its your first movie.

| Great...more people who never watched the trailer. Annoys me because Sandman and I just explained this in irc not long ago. All of the frags in the radioITG TAS video were from the Q4Fury trailer, but credit was never given to killaton. |
